my ego w/501 atomizers and fillable carts seem to smoke?

Please help me I'm already disabled and use these for health reasons, I am concerned about seeming to smoke the filling in the ego 501 carts, the filling actually disappears, and sends up smoke when I top off cart while using, also atomizers get HOT, but doesnt seem out of liquid?
I use regular ego parts,us made liquids low nicotine. I would HATE to have to quit this, It saved me from 30 more years of marlboro abuse.
Please help me vererable veterans, it is really important for me to know what the heck is going on with this stuff.thanks!

The filling is likely dropping down into the cart well. Filling is pretty much resistant to burning at these temps. When you refill, sometimes you'll see vapor that is trapped in the filler come out from displacement. Highly suggest trying a cart mod - the straw mod (modification) for your carts to get better wicking and refilling:
