I recently purchased the eGo from Janty, my 3rd from other companies were pieces of ...... I noticed I started to get a bit of a burnt taste after a while, and they told me to put a few drops directly onto the atomizer foil. Is this correct, or a good idea? Is this dripping? I didn't notice much of a change, and although this one works better than the others, unless it's a brand new cart, and sometimes even if it is, it doesn't last to long, and then even refilling it with the e liquid, not as much liquid seems to go into the cart??? Is this dripping? And if not what is please?

Help Please! Thanx!

Yes, "dripping" means to drip 2 to 3 drops directly on the atomizer coil, i.e., into the tube (I don't look inside as I drip). You can do it occasionally along with using a filled cartridge or regularly instead of using a cartridge. Many vapers only drip. I haven't uses carts for months.

Most cartridges are not that effective in delivering e-liquid to the atomizer. Dripping cuts out the incompetent middle man to deliver the juice directly to where it is needed. Other alternatives (e.g., using other cart filler material) are described in Part 3 of my 510 Guide.

Dipping is not applicable to an unexposed atomizer like the 510. An exposed atomizer can be dipped into a little pool of e-liquid (e.g., a contact lens case) accomplishing the same thing as dripping.
