Hello all,

I thought I would give a quick summary of how my experiences with puresmoker have gone so far:

On March 4th I ordered a black Hybrid starter kit and juice. One week later I recieved it. At the time I ordered there was still a claim on the site if I recall correctly that orders were shipped out the next day. So the week delay was a bit frustrating, but nothing too bad.

Two weeks after recieving my e cig, the smaller of the two batteries died. It would light up but not actually activate the atomizer. I sent an email to Daniel at Puresmoker dot com (the one I had been communicating with him about product questions). Apparently that email was now defunct, but there was no post on their website to let anyone know this.

So while I waited for a response, seven days passed and my second battery died. This one doesn't even light up anymore.

That is correct, two dead batteries in three weeks span. I was very frustrated as you can imagine and came to this forum and saw that I needed to open a Trouble Ticket at their site. I did so, and also followed up with a PM to both parties here as well as a few posts with my TT# and request for resolution.

The next day I got an email from a Joanna telling me that I was in essence out of luck on the second battery but that she would ship out my replacement for the first one "ASAP".

I was still frustrated that considering I was a new cust, and had such a bad experience with the first battery dying so soon, and now had BOTH die in three weeks they would step up to the customer service plate and take care of the second one as well. BUT at least I figured I would get the first one replaced.

They closed my Trouble Ticket, but I sit here 6 days later with nothing in my mailbox.

I sent an email last night asking for status, and have not heard anything yet.

Just in case the owners are reading this, my original order # was 11560. My Trouble ticket was 256-3948.

I am frustrated, and disappointed.

Hi BloodyJack,

I'm sorry you're frustrated. I can understand how you would be. Please keep in mind that we don't ship replacements out via Priority Mail so they can take up to a week or more to actually arrive once we've shipped them. When I say that we'll ship out the replacement as soon as possible, I mean it. Sometimes it just isn't possible to ship it out that day. But please know that it IS in the mail, and I'm hoping along with you that it arrives soon.

Thank you for the response. Part of my frustration is I tend to be a very loyal guy, and I did a TON of research before choosing your company. I will pay more and regularly to a company that inspires my trust and that I am comfortable in dealing with. Puresmoker seemed to me to be that company.

The main issue I had was the 14 day window for warranty. Yet I pushed through that due to your reputation. Then to have two batteries die in three weeks.... well you must forgive me if for a moment or two I said to myself: "Well, that explains their warranty window being only two weeks... three weeks in is probably all you can count on their product lasting."

To have this disappointment right out of the gate is distressing... My thanks for responding to me, and I assure you that if the new battery lasts longer than the first two I will also post that fact as well... If I am willing to give a less than stellar review, it would be hypocritical of me to not give a good one when warranted.

Well we would definitely appreciate that. Since we do not make the product ourselves, it's hard to regulate quality control. We do test every item before we send it, but it's impossible for us to know if something will die 2-3 weeks down the road. We have the 14 day warranty in place because atomizers especially do not last more than 3-4 weeks on average. They're not technically "disposable" but they're not built to last for several months. If we charged a great deal more for our products like some of our competitors do, we'd obviously raise the warranty period. I hope that makes sense.

At any rate, I hope the replacement works like a champ!

Jack, Having two fail that quick is weird. Since you are new to it you might me overfilling (if you are dripping). Getting juice in the batteries is a sure fire way to kill them quick. My first battery died not long after purchase but every one since has worked great and I have bought a bunch of these things. My wife has killed two batteries by getting juice in them so just keep an eye on the battery when you get it.

edit: BTW Steve get to work! I want to order juice. :p
