I saw an add on the net for Smoke51, aka Fifty-One, aka Smoke Anywhere USA.
I ordered the $10 trial package.
Got it. Did not like it compared to analogs at first. By the third day I preferred it to analogs.
Was getting ready to order some carts and WHAM! My credit card gets hit for $89.95!
Turns out that in REALLY fine print buried deep in the trial agreement, was the surprise. It really is not a $10 trial package....it is $10 to get it sent to you, then if I do not send it back within a week they charge ANOTHER $89.95.
Well, I was digesting that, and then the VERY next day my card gets hit for another $29.95!
By ordering the $10 trial, I also "agreed" to an automatic $29.95 monthly charge for carts.
I then started searching around the net...found this site.
Talked with George and Dawn at the DIY Flavor Shack, they were very helpful. I read a BUNCH on the forum here.
I decided to cancel the auto cart thing with smoke51, but keep the e-cig from them, even though it was way overpriced.
But now the smoke51 battery is not lasting even half as long as it was last week. (connection is clean and there is no juice leaked into the battery)
So, I have already ordered a 901, and some diff. flavors. Hopefully this smoke51 will limp along until the 901 gets here.
Then it is going back and I will have the $89.95 reversed, and the monthly autoship cancelled.
(I have tried their RMA email process with ZERO results/response from them)
I will pay the $10 and the $29.95 for the first months carts (since I used them).
I am thankful for them introducing me to e-cigs, but their product is not so good and their total absence of customer service is appalling.
