Hi friends,

I would like to share my experience till now after quitting cigarette in Jan 2011 and it is like, at that time I use to smoke 1 pack daily and I have even gone through lung infections and spend lot money on different treatments but then I firmly decided to quit it and I started using E-cigarettes and it helped me like anything and but, sometime, I still cant stop to smoke normal cigarette but it is about 1-2.

After being the part of this forum, I am getting very positive about quitting smoking and everyday I am updated with different motivational replies and it is helping me out guys :)

Thanks guys!! a ton

Congratulations! I've gone 21 days now, and this forum is wonderful! I've had a lot of lung infections myself in the past, and just recently got over bronchitis. In fact, I got it the day I got my first e-cig! That didn't stop me, as I smoked through any old thing in the past; not gonna stop me from trying this, ha!

I have a special place in my heart for Australians, as they own the company I work for here in the states! I posted this in another thread, but to get off the one or two cigs a day, do a comparison. Smoke your regular cig versus an e-cig flavor that's as close as you can find, or just one you like. Do both at the same time, and see which one tastes better. Do it more than once if you need to. That's all it took for me, after 30 years of smoking, and a couple of months of vaping. Good luck!

Good Going lerrygibson! Try not to put to much emphasis, in your mind, on quitting. That adds unnecessary pressure, and the mental mind bashing that goes with every infraction. This in turn may lead to constant cigarette counting and possibly other OCD type behavior, or worse yet..giving up trying!. Speaking for myself, I found the transition took me about 2 weeks before I couldn't stand the taste of a cigarettes and preferred the PV. I guess what I am saying is try not to focus on the analogs, rather focus on the e-cig
