I received my D1 from LeCig on Monday morning along with a pack of 5 tobacco flavored cartomizers. I've been a pack a day of full flavor for about 40 years. The first day, I had 5 analogs. The second day I had 6. The reason for the extra one was due to me driving up town one more time. I am really a creature of habit. I'd have one after each meal, when I walk the dog and when I take off with the car. Yesterday, after walking the dog, I took all my cigs and ashtray out of the car. That eliminated that temptation. Today, I've had a total of 3 analogs, one after each meal, and that's it for the day. Consdiring I have a massive amount of tobacco on hand, I'll probably continue to have my after meal smokes. I consider it my dessert. ;)

I've never coughed from cigs or had any other problems. However, now that I have my last smoke at 6:15 PM. vs. 10:15 PM, I've found I sleep much harder during the night. I wake up more refreshed. The analogs must have been having some effect on me.

I do have 1 question. When vaping the tob flavored cartomizers, I've always had to take a hard draw and then a slow draw, to get any vapor or taste. The first draw didn't produce anything. Mike at LeCig threw in a free sample of Virginia flavored cart. It is the same mg but for some reason, the first slow draw produces nice flavor and vapor. Is this all due to the different flavor, or did the others just have inferior attys? Whatever the reason, the Virginia is sure more enjoyable to vape.

Wrong. ;-)

Seriously, I switched carts today when I quit getting flavor and didn't change anything. With the tobacco flavored ones, neither a slow or hard draw would produce anything on the first time around, but this one produces right away, even after sitting for 15 minutes.
Well, there you go, it's the juice.

I didn't realize juice could make that much difference. I'll be glad when my juice gets here so I can start playing.

I've read that you should vape a cartridge as dry as possible, before refilling it. I was just wondering if it would help to take the cartomizer apart and leave it open over night, and maybe the remaining juice would evaporate? I suppose it's too thick for that. it was just a thought, albeit a silly one.

I am not a big cartomizer fan, but no, the juice will not evaporate that quickly.

And vaping a cartomizer as dry as possible?
I'm not seeing the logic in that.

My understanding is that if it's close to dry, it's easier to know how much juice to add to it. Otherwise, it's just guess work. But, I'm just a noob and only relaying what I read somewhere else on this forum.

That makes a fair amount of sense.
:)

Now you just have to figure out when it is close to dry.

Which I guess would be a reduction in flavor for the sensitive.
And a nasty buring plastic taste for the less senstive who may have missed earlier signals.
