So just a few days ago I learned there was more to vaping than my Bloog cigs with Bloog carts. I ordered a couple eGo batteries and some MiT CE4+ Clearomizers...my experience with them has been on and off, unfortunately. I've decided to give those up.

Today I received a few new items and wanted to share what I thought.

Left to right is the GotVapes VISION EXTREME MINI 2.5ml 510 Carto 2.8-3.0ohm filled with Halo Menthol Ice, the Vapor Junction 510 LR Dual Coil Tank filled with Halo True Pure Menthol, and the GotVapes VISION Stone 3 5ml Tank 2.1-2.3ohms with LiQUA Menthol.

I'm sure plenty of you have already talked about these, but being that I'm a noob to this I figured it couldn't hurt to describe my thoughts. I've been dutifully vaping all three all night on eGo 650Mah and 1000Mah batteries (no APV here...yet).

GotVapes Vision Extreme Mini

I really want to like this one. It's convenient, I don't worry as much about it bursting in my pocket or something, and the whistle tip is rather comfortable. However, it does have a light and airy feel to it. Despite being filled with a fairly strong juice, it goes in cold and leaves cold as can be expected from the high resistance. There's plenty of vapor, but you don't really feel it. Mouth warmth is nonexistent, throat hit is minimal, vapor is decent.

One big plus is the consistency; I've chain vaped and taken breaks on it and the flavor is the same each time. Mild, relaxing. Durability seems good, I tried shaking, turning upside down, smoking upside down, the works, and I didn't get a bit of leak.

This is honestly a great morning cart for when you haven't quite gotten your bronchial tubes revved up and you just need some no fuss nicotine without a gunked up throat.

Vapor Junction 510 LR Dual Coil Tank

I. Love. Tanks. This is my first tank with a punched carto, and it really fits the bill for what I imagined a 'tank' to be. If I had a crystal ball, I'm sure I'd be seeing a future with a Provari and a nice glass tank system. As far as this one is concerned, it's nice. Consistent flavor, tons of vapor, and a good strong hit. The vapor comes in hot and warms the tongue before providing a nice gnarly throat hit. You feel this one going down and you see it all coming back out. Metric .... tons of vapor. Even with menthol in there it gives a good hard hit, like smoking a non-light analog. If you want the throat hit of an analog, this is for you.

The one problem I have with it is the bottom atty slide. You can slide the atomizer out through the bottom; it has a rounded hex-ish shape which plugs up the bottom of the tank. Only problem is, even when you're all filled up, capped, and have a drip tip on the tank can still slide right off the base and up over the drip tip. This will result in a soggy drip tip and a potential dump of all your liquid. I'm afraid to put this bad boy in my pocket, since it shares the pocket with an iPhone 4S and some $500 in ear headphones. Ouch. Aside from the tank sliding off, the durability seems pretty good. I haven't vaped the whole tank yet, so we'll see how the refilling does soon. No leaks whatsoever, no gurgling, just a nice clean somewhat loud pull with a few little popping sounds.

I have a feeling this will be my go-to desk/chair vape. I'll throw it on a passthrough and vape all day at the desk on this one.

GotVapes Vision Stone 3 2.1-2.3 ohm

I've heard that these things have a lot of leaking issues and such, depending who you get them from. This one from GotVapes isn't giving me any issues. In fact, it's an absolute dream. No gurgling, hissing, leaking, or anything yet though I've kept it on its side and flipped it over several times (even smoking it upside down). Excellent vapor pull, though quite a bit cooler than the DCT above. It seems to pull in a bit more air, which results in a cool, crisp, strong throat hit and tons of vapor. Seriously, this one by far provides the most taste and the biggest hit...but it's not as gnarly a hit as the DCT. It's like drinking a freezing cold soda, cold against the back of your throat, crisp. The DCT is like sipping Jagermeister. It's quite a bit quieter than the DCT though of course not as quiet as a standalone cartomizer. Despite the quiet, you'll feel the vapor in and out.

It also seems a lot more solid than the DCT. With screw on metal caps on both ends, there's no sliding on or off at all. I see this one becoming my treat tank...either when I just want some straight up flavor or when I have a really tasty juice I can't wait to vape for dessert. It will probably also be my pocket go-with-me tank for the foreseeable future since it seems sturdy enough for the pocket and I have to have one with me at all times.

The Liquids

I've been hunting for a good, clean menthol. I just wanted to throw a blurb in here...the Halo True Pure Menthol was pretty killer, smooth taste without too much heavy hitting menthol clearing the sinuses. Halo Menthol ICE was nice, strong menthol taste but a little minty which I can't stand. The LiQUA Menthol was absolutely divine. GotVapes only sells it in 10ml doses for now, but hopefully they'll change that soon. The flavor is out of this world, better than the Bloog Menthol I've come to love so much.

That's it!

I know there's tons of reviews on here by other, more veteran vapers. I hope that some of this information will help you regardless, coming from the point of view of someone who had no idea what a tank, 510, or wick was just a couple days ago.
