My first coil build!

I just did my very first coil build on my mini pt 2! I did 8 wraps with 32g kanthal putting it at 3.2 ohms, with organic cotton wick.
So, how did I do? I can't believe the flavor difference between this and the stock replacement heads, it's amazing! On another note, what can I do to get this bad boy down to about 2.1 ohms? Less wraps? More wraps?

Great job, less wraps will bring the ohms down. Also depends on what you are wrapping your coil around. I used a 1/16 drill bit 5 wraps put it at about 1.6-1.7 ohms. Good look and keep coiling.....

larger wire will also drop the ohms. I use 28g kanthal wire, wrapped 8 times around a 16g needle in a micro coil to come up with around 1.1-1.2 ohms.

I had man wrapped around a 5/16 screw driver. So less wraps, smaller object to wrap around, and thicker gauge wire?

Try 5 wraps. Keep the coils tight. I prefer 26g kanthal for my builds, I find it much easier to work with. Much of this is personal preference.

I use 28g, wrapped around a 5/64 drill bit, 10-11 wrap microcoil, hits between 1.0-1.4 ohms
