Very happy to join this amazing community of REO vape aficionados. I recently scored a Reo Grande at a great price..but had to send it in to the spa for a rebuild by the man himself. While she was away I spotted a Reo Mini on the classys and couldn't pass it up. Guess what came today? Rob sent out my Grande today but the Mini is in and I just built my first coil on my first RM2/Reo Mini. 9-10 wraps of 30awg kanthal ended up at 1.5ohms. Loaded up my bottle with some Honey Pearry and I'm in vape heaven. Thanks for all the helpful tips and advice. Obligatory pics incoming!

do you get any leakage out of the well on the REO when you squeeze the bottle. ive seen where when people use cartos or attys they get some liquid in the well where the atty screws in. I like the rebuildables and wondering if you get that as well

No leakage at ALL with the RM2, Krazirob. I over squonk mine all the time so that my whole coil/wick is saturated, and never a leak.

That's my method as well. I got an A7 with that tumbled I bought it floods the well when you squonk it. I can't wait to order more RM2's so I don't have to use anything else.

The RM2 comes with an o-ring that you put around the base that meets up with the body once it's screwed in to help contain any leakage but I used mine for two weeks before I realized that's what the o-ring was for and it never leaked. I'm running one right now without the o-ring and it's not leaking at all (and it bounced around in the bottom of my backpack for a large part of the day).

and when you do this does liquid seep out of the outer part of the RM2 in the well the RBA screws into? this is the only thing that is making me squint

Nope only place the liquid goes is into the RM2 then any excess drains right back down into the bottle when you stop squeezing.

Yup. That's not to say you can't flood your RM2 ('cause I've done it) but the juice either goes back down the tube or stays in the RM2. I do see a little juice around the o-ring on occasion but it's always very little and when I take the RM2 off the 510 connection is slick but there's no pool of liquid. It's possible I suppose that more juice gets sucked back down the tube from the well than the RM2 but if so it's hasn't caused any problems or noticeable leakage.

DUH! I thought it was for adjustments and never needed it!

Darn nice first coil BTW. I would do less wick like super suggested.
