My first coil

30AWG Kanthal, 10 wraps, 1/16

I think it looks pretty decent. I straightened with a drill then wrapped around a 1/16 bit. The top side was a bit spaced and the bottom tight. I put it in tweezers and hit it with a mapp gas torch. That tightened it up almost perfectly. Easy peezy.

Thanks. I was hoping it was good enough. No rba to put it in yet, but, according to calcs, it's a 2.1. Plan is to do a .55 quad coil for a 100w device so I can utilize its power. So, this coil is just practice.
