Well I know this isn't a big deal to some, but after 20 years of a pack a day about, this is the first time I have went 1 full entire day without a real cigarette! I'm proud of me!!! I did it!!!

Lucky--A full thumbs up for you--keep at it and give those overpriced, taxed to the nine's, death sticks the boot right out the door--Sun:thumb:

Thats awesome and congradulations to you! I swear these things really can help you quit if that is what you are after.. They may not have the gov. testing as a smoking cessation (sp) but these work way better than the patches and gums that are out there. I was a 2 pk a day for 25 yrs and I had tried before to quit with no luck..

It is a big deal and I am glad to hear you are having success..

Grats again LuckySevens4U !!!!!

Thank you so much you guys!!! You all have been so great in helping and I'm so glad I just asked all my stupid questions first and prepared myself. Thank you to all of you I bothered individually too asking dumb questions, but it really has helped educate me. I was nervous yesterday when I first got it. I liked it, but I had still smoked the 3 analogs and was scared. Well I thought a clean slate in the morning and I'll do it. So I got my coffee and just came in my office and I never smoke right away when I first get up anyhow, so I didn't vape yet and waited like I usually do. Then I went ahead and did it and it gave me the perfect armount of nic with the 11 mg that I felt great and even better than a real cig. I probably didn't even take but 8 puffs. Then I waited another hour or so and maybe took 6 more, was going fine. Then another hour or so passed and I took a few more. I honestly feel like I smoke LESS with these because with a real ciggy, you'd smoke the whole thing no matter what cuz you didn't want to waste it. With this, I just take 5-6 puffs and I'm done for a while. I just cannot believe for the first time in 20 years I have went ALL DAY without a stinky stick! Also today my chest and heart area feel better and I don't have those strange pains running around my body, weird!!! I'm just so proud! Thank you all for your help and support and my .... is staying put here for support for one another!!! :D:)

CONGRATS !!!!

I think I may just have to join you tomorrow. I have been vaping for almost 2 weeks now and have went from 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day down to about 5 a day, but I have been hanging on to those last few each day. For some reason your post made me decide to try to make tomorrow my first day of 0 ciggy butts :)

Keep it up - I know you gotta be a happy camper !

Oh yes, and another thing. We went out to Mexican dinner also tonight and all you smokers know how we like our ciggys after food, especially spicey food!!! I was worried. There is no smoking allowed around here in places where you eat or anywhere. So no one was looking and I leaned over and took a puff or 2. hehehehe No one even noticed. I truly think these ecigs tackle one of the harder parts of the EMOTIONAL part of this addiction and to have that crutch to vape on REALLY helps. If the FDA tries to knock this, I'm just going to flip out because this is the ONLY thing that has TRULY gotten so many of us off 4,000 chemicals EVER! This is probably the BEST thing out there. I bet more than anything they are going to want their piece of the pie.

Oh Brenda, I know how you feel, and I want you to kick .... tomorrow and report to us because here is what I thought. Okay, I have my vaper now. I have NO excuse now. Yes, I failed the first day I got it by smoking 3, but then I thought if I keep allowing myself a few each day, it's going to make it harder for me to stop it. So I decided to start that clean slate in the morning and just DO IT. I didn't want to prolong the agony anymore and start a new routine with a few regular cigs a day and have to quit that. So that is what I did. I just didn't drag it out any longer, no pun intended. LOL Please tell us how you do tomorrow. JUST DO IT!!!!! YOU CAN! Believe me, if I did, you can too!!!

Thanks Lucky.

Those have been my thoughts also. I think the few I have been having have been from habit and not wanting to let go of the crutch - they actually taste pretty crappy. So Sunday I decided to not have the one in the morning with my coffee and took my coffee outside with my 901. All went well, but then later in the day I still had a few. So the last few days I have been asking myself why and it really makes no sense other than habit and fear.

I also have found a few juices over the last few days that I am really enjoying so I am now enjoying vaping instead of just trying to use it as a substitute - so I think I am ripe for the picking for tomorrow being the day :)

Thanks for the encouragement - I WILL join you tomorrow !!!! And I will report back :)

Lucky .... well done on the first day. I found that once i got the first day out of the way then every day got easier. It's amazing just how great and liberating that feeling is. Only another smoker can really appreciate what an accomplishment that is.

Shapeshifter - sounds to me like you are ready for that first day too. Going to bed with a plan and the right mindset is the first step. Do your usual routine but just pick up the ecig instead.

One factor that kept me on the 901 was i'd just paid $85.00 for this thing i'm going to use it.

UK, congrats on all the days YOU'VE made it so far! That's just awesome. Well I have the opposite feeling that I just paid all this money for this. I also have 3 cartons of ciggys I just paid all this money for staring me in the face saying smoke me smoke me smoke me  that I'm going to go give away to someone who has not decided to quit smoking yet. I hate enabling anyone, but if they haven't decided to quit yet, then I might as well save them some money with the price of these things now.

congrats! I'm starting the beginning of week 4 of vaping and i'm still smoking 3-5 analogs a day (past two days was down to 3 in morning, but then I went to 4 this morning and i'm about to have one right now before I go to bed). Those morning ones are the hardest to give up for me (I've always been one of those 'pull myself out of bed and go straight to the desk to have a smoke' types of smokers). But anyway... this is about you, not me ;) Congrats again!!
