I would try cleaning them with Brew Rite coffee machine cleaner. Rinse well afterwards with boiling water. Since I switched from the 901 to the Screwdriver, I haven't had one 901 atomizer go bad. (3 months). One of the techie's in the mod forum said that with a manual switch, bigger battery PV, the atomizer coil is heated more and longer which evaporates the liquid better and better prevents gunk from building up on the coil and it is the gunk build up that breaks the wires and kills the atomizer.

It doesn't hurt to try washing it out and then letting it dry for a few days. At times a badly flooded atomizer will go cold and then come back to life after it's been washed and dried.

Another thing to check is the resistance of the atomizer's heating coil with an Ohm meter. A good atty should fall with-in the 3 to 5 ohms range. From my experience with the DSE 901 when the atomizer goes cold the resistance jumps sky high to over 1000 ohms and no amount of cleaning will bring it back.

Thanks for your advices... i'm really a newbie regarding vaping and this forum has been a tremendous help! I havent't even performed basic maintenance on the ecigs yet. Do you clean your attys how frequently?

P.S. Can anyone of you please indicate me where the hell I can change my signature so I have the SmokeFree Statistics like the above? I managed to get the statistics but couldn't find the place in my profile for signature editing.

Click on the Quick Links item on the menu near the top of this web page. Under the User Control Panel heading is an option to Edit Signature.

Click on "Customize Profile" and the link to edit your signature will be on the left. "Customize Profile" is to the right of "send message" and "user notes" and to the left of the "friends" area. Hope that helps.
Have a great day!:thumb:

OMG... I can't seem to find the Edit Signature option under Customize Profile. Maybe it's because I do not have the 15 posts yet... i guess... thanks anyways. It's no big deal really.

You're absolutely right! 15 posts needed to have a signature or post links, but you'll get there in no time.:thumb:
