Hey everyone so I made two flavors as my 1st DIY attempt but only have 1 atomizer so may be not the best to taste multiple flavors.

Anyhow I made a 5ml Dragon fruit and a 6ml strawberry - both are super concentrates from vaping zone.

I used the Toddmuller e juice calculator and my mix goes as follows...

Dragon Fruit (5ml) intended nic level: 12
3.0ml of my VG / PG with nicotine.
1.9ml of my VG
and the bottle says recommend 2.5% flavor so I tried 2% which is two drops from the bottle.
results: considering my atomizer was empty but I had dragon fruit there before I didn't really notice it that much to be honest.... The throat hit was there with the nicotine that's for sure, I usually smoke about 12mg nic levels and idk I felt it kind of strong here.

Strawberry did a lil different (6ml) intended nic level: 10
3.0ml of my VG / PG with nicotine.
2.9ml of my VG
and the bottle says recommend 2.5% flavor so I tried a little more than my dragon fruit and did 3 drops... (4 drops are 3% so I think this amount was ok)
result: ok so right off I could smell the strawberry it smelled nice, or the smell is lingering from the concentrated bottle lol I don't really know, well I tried to empty my atomizer as much as I can, filled it up with some strawberry and tried smoking this for a good 5mins. Eventually the flavor came to me as I pulled the smoke through the mouth piece so I think it's pretty decent in my book. Oh and the throat hit wasn't as strong on this one but still very noticeable.

I have not added any actual sweetener primarily since I haven't bought any but would you guys think a sweetener added can make the flavors pop some more or what if I increase the drops of the flavor? I am leaning towards maybe just adding another drop to the vials because that would increase the flavor wouldn't it? Anyways feedback is very welcome!

True if 20 drops equals 1ml however I have found that drops vary bottle to bottle and thus use a syringe to measure my flavorings.

I do drop (drip) from some of my flavoring bottles into a 1 ml syrince and then mark them as to number of drops that equal 1ml. At times I will use a few drops to tweak a 15 or 20 ml batch if I want the flovor stronger or sweeter.

Sweetening is a personal taste point just like amount of flavoring. I use sweet cream, whipped cream or at times just sweetner and in general start with 1% and adjust to taste.

Welcome to the world of DIY

I can't comment on your calculations because you didn't list your Nicotine level your beginning with,I am assuming it's 24mg with the quantity given.

Some Nicotene produces a stronger th than others so, that maybe your difference there.

1. Did you steep it at all or mix and vape? I generally will wait a day or two on a fruit recipe before changing anything.
2. Did you add any lemon juice ?
3. Any em?

Ok:.... Is this strange I just measured dropping the flavor into a open ended syringe to see how many drops would be 1ml and I got 45 drops.... Is that normal?

Edit:
Ok I figured it out checked out some other calculators and yea I guess 45 is right... Now for 2% it's 9 drops and for 3% I calculated 13.5 drops so I'm gonna try 11 drops.... Lol lets see how this goes

That's dependent upon the temperature and viscosity of the liquid and the diameter of the syringe/dropper from which the drops are being dripped.

If you're making small batches, and it sounds like you are, using drops as a form of measurement isn't very accurate or repeatable. Get yourself some 1mL syringes. They're inexpensive and, in my opinion, invaluable when it comes to DIY.

I have them in route :( wish they were here but just trying to go by what I have ATM. Gonna test another sample here just to check my measurements.

I'm used to what a good dragon fruit flavor should smell like and I just made a good one :) I also made tutti frutti and chocolate coffee.... Thinking about putting some cream in the choc coffee but not sure.... Have to try it
Any idea how much cream I should add to give it a nice flavor?

2-4% cream should work.
