I guess I thought it would be more simple.. I've been buying desert ship from myfreedomsmokes and bought the stuff to diy it.. Just the pg vg nic, and fa-desert ship.. I guess they have more of a recipe than I assumed.. It tastes almost nothing like it.. Very floral and almost citrusy... I did however try it right after I made it... I'll give it a week and revisit.. Not sure how much of a difference it will make.. Any thoughts?

How much flavoring did you add, what percentage? Too much can either give it an off scent or even seem like there is none at all.

Cool, sounds good. I always start at the low end, easier to add more flavor, then have to mix up more base. Steeping may very well help then. I unfortunately have never used that particular flavor and can't really be of any more help with that. Good luck with your DIY

If you made 'enough', you could always split the batch in half...and then dilute half of it, and leave the other at 4%. That way there'd be less time playing the 'steep game' overall
Desert ship (actually all FA tobaccos) is too strong for me over 3%.
2% will probably get you where you want to be.
I also rarely steep, but that very well could help also.
