The ground around a pool plus a plastic drip tip equals a sad monkey, had to be my favorite too :(

Can you use superglue on a drip tip?

yeah man, not really worth it in my opinion. I broke three ming tips, and 2 derlin, in a matter of a month and a half. Said screw it and i just use metal from now on. I'm to rough on my PV. gets dirty at work, greasy in the garage, and knocked around on my desk, let alone being dropped along the way. But i'll tell you what, metal sucks in the winter time on those below freezing days when you're already cold, without putting a freezing piece of metal to your mouth ;)

My sympathies on your loss.

Just like toast landing buttered side down, PVs always land drip tip first. This is why I buy two or three of any of my favorite drip tip styles. With my luck, they'll end up discontinuing whatever favorite tip/accessories i like when it finally gets busted.....the Dalek from electronicstix.com comes to mind.
