So, my twisted 28 builds tend to crackle and pop a bit too much for my liking!

I was driving and taking a vape when a plume of vapor from my liquid crackling shot out my airhole and since my airhole is aligned the way it should be, it shot me in the right eye, very painful and not a good time....no one wants boiling e-liquid to be shot at their eye ball!

That being said....I went back to a normal micro coil, 0.8 ohms and it just wasn't doing it for me...

Behold!

x2 10 wraps of 28 around my 1/16 DZ coil jig, coil placement was kind of hard, but once I got them in there and lined up properly....0.6 ohms just as I wanted!

vaping great so far, vapor production is on par with twisted, flavor is perfect as usual....TH could use a bit of work though!

Bit worried about keeping my top coil wet, but the top coptton is touching the bottom cotton, so it should be OK

That's quite the hole! How airy does it feel? It that part of the sub ohm desire?

The draw is perfect honestly, not too airy at all.

I started out stock, hated it and went to 1/6, then 5/64 for a week or two and now I am settled on 3/32, not gonna go any larger.....it really did increase my flavor and clouds though. :)

I used to like 1.6ohm vapes, nice cool clouds. Then I started chasing the dragon and have grown to love warm billowing clouds that just fill your lungs up. I also find that the hits I take are much shorter the lower I go, they just produce so much, so fast. I guess it's like an acquired taste or something.

It is supposed to point up. But that puts it facing up at mouth level with plenty of face above it. Just last week I had a coil spit out the air hole, past my glasses and hit my eye. Long odds against it but it can happen.

That is exactly what happened to me, only I wasn't wearing glasses and I was driving!

This was with my twisted 28 coil, it was very spitty.

I am *still* using this same coil and it vapes like my twisted 28, but doesn't spit and pop at all ever. I re-wick it once a week, dry burn and rinse off the black nastys in the sink. :)

Drive home with a bikers helmet with a visor - my boy cranking out .6 ohms and 4.2 volts on a fully charged batterry and 3/32s and has the nerve to ask these questions ? Just playing - it can be serious especially the eye and driving- try rip trippers 160 watt gi12 i think youll be ok pointing airhole down and still get enough vapor - just saying
