So my girlfriend of 5 years called the cops on me today because she was trying to move her thug brother(who I hate) in my house, she told me it was only going to be a couple days, I said "HELL NO!" then some verbals back and fourth, after I had told her brother to get the hell out, I then walked upstairs to watch the yankee game. 10 mins later i hear 2 cops creeping thier way up the stairs "police department josh - your not in trouble, before we come up I hear you have a firearm, can you tell me where that is before we come up" I respond "yeah, its locked up in the closet" (cannot believe she told them that, the gun had absolutely no part in the argument, and never has in ANY argument) so they come up and talk with us for about 15 mins, it pretty much came down to them telling my girlfriend that her brother had to find another place to stay and that if he tried to come over again and if I had a problem to go ahead and give them a call and they would take him off the property LOL WOW! did that plan ever backfire on her. Anyway while we were all talking i seen that both those cops were really eyeballing my EVO, before they left, they said "what is that ur smoking on there?" i told em what it was and how it worked, they said that was the first time they had ever seen or heard of one, and that "its pretty cool" so maybe converted some our local finest. other than my relationship hitting a new low it was a pretty good time.

Crazy story.., who needs the cops at their house? Seriously...you might think twice about this girlfriend. Better communication between you two would be a suggestion. At least a mutual understanding about any relatives or friends comming for a stay to be discussed beforehand.

I'm a bit concerned that someone noted you had a gun, (though it is customary for them to ask the caller if there is a gun owned in the house). Would have been respectful of her to at least let you know she told them that. Again communication, and some kind of mutual understanding would be a good thing before cohabitating, don't you think?

Best of luck to you.

You should have told them it was a relationship detector. If the tip turns blue you're in a disfuctional relationship... Uh-oh!
