Since I went the upgrade route - I not a man that loves discrete more one that loves endurance and practicality so battery longevity was my main factor - And I'm also not shy - I vape ANYWHERE I can - I am amazed by how many people think I am smoking Mary Jane!!

I guess most of the rest of the world thinks an e-cig is those ones that are made to act like a real cig and when they see a APV device they automatically think it's a .... of some kind..

I've been the victim of police brutality/misconduct 3+ times, so I completely understand this!!!
The police in my town are under investigation CONSTANTLY.
There are rumors that they work hand-in-hand with the local gangs.
I heard that they have been seen driving down 1 of the main streets, shooting at + killing multiple dogs/cats. I was personally beaten, I've had the clothes ripped off my back, and I've been harassed multiple times. The police here are total ********s!!! I HATE what they do to innocent people!!


In other news....
I have read that california medical dispensaries ARE SELLING ... e-juice already loaded into Clearomizers.
Soooo I am REALLY scared about hearing about the police hearing about this.
As soon as people find out that the medical dispensaries ARE SELLING the ... e-juice in our e-cigs???
Well, e-cigs can easily go on the list of banned drug pariphinilia in California.
If I were a CA resident, I would IMMEDIATELY try fighting against the dispensaries doing this.
I am still going to contact CASAA about this very thing in the near future when I get a chance.

Well, with the up comming FDA thing we have to educate the general public. Obviously lack of education about the devices are at play here and the more people that we explain this to the less the FDA has to fight with when it comes down to the wire. Mis-information is often times impossible to reverse and the damage done can be long lasting.

Great Job on the education, sounds like your doing great at being a steward for the vaping community...keep it up

As for the police in your town, there are bad apples in every crate. That doesn’t make the whole orchard bad. Just have to weather it out until a solution can be found.

Yah, I know about the CA thing, and truthfully I've myself seen already one device marketed for vaporizing Illegal substances and E-Liquid. I knew it would happen but was hoping that it would be so badly timed as it is with the FDA already reaching for things to use against the community. The only thing that we can hope is that through education we can inform the public and law enforcement these are not used for any type of Illegal drugs. This all leads back to everyone who vapes being good stewards and educating those that are mis-informed or draw false assumptions. I myself attempt to educate, even at BWI I was questioned about it..Informed the supervisor there of what my eGo Spinner and Viva Nova tank was, how it worked...Showed him some of the bottles of Mountain Baker that had ingredients listed on it. He didn't know that some companies did that even, thanked me for my time and moved on.

Just expect that at one point and time you will be asked about it, and at that time is your opportunity to make a difference for the community in a positive way.

Ive been stopped too on the interstate no less. Luckily I had never removed my window cling advertising my electronic cigarette business (long since dead thanks to the F.D.A ) and also had a bottle of juice in the car that was clearly labelled.

I hope the vendors on this forum who think its okay or even cool to sell illicit drug flavored ejuice are paying attention here. All it takes is a stop from a less informed member of law enforcement and someone is likely going to jail/making the evening news because of it.

I also think that police have been briefed about electronic cigarettes. Realistically, how can they NOT be? They may not know about the HUGE variety of the shapes, sizes, colors and models though...

DUDE? I didn't know you had your own juice business?? What? Thats awesome. I wan't to start DIYing once I get my mods and tanks and my favorite pre-bought juices ALL figured out. I'm done with my mods. I need to buy a couple more tanks.. (I need more rebuildables, clearos/vivis, and carto tanks/pyrex) As soon as I'm finished with my tanks and my atomizer/carto/head accessories, I can focus on juice/DIY.

I wasn't trying to attack anyone. I apologize to him and anyone else that took offense. I will try to explain.

The excerpt I was referring to was this:

Some of his other comments, such as this one, posted in another thread not long before that post:

on a forum full of people who have struggled with addictions for years, seemed insensitive and suggested to me that he might be trying to incite negative reactions, which is an internet meme called "trolling". I wasn't calling him a name, I was expressing doubts about the sincerity of his statements. If I think a person is purposefully trying to instigate arguments for the sake of making others angry, I will question them on it. I don't like bullies.

I don't really understand your point in emphasizing that he is from the UK or that this is an international forum. I didn't try to say anything that was insensitive to anyone's nationality, so please help me correct my mistake if I did so. You do not have to answer that, but, thats interesting. I have seen that flavor floating around the web... (coincidentally, that flavor is ALWAYS on those overly expensive websites, lol) I have never seen a "reputable" vendor of e-juice selling that type of flavor. I don't know whether to call that fortunately, or unfortunately, because honestly, I WOULD like to try that flavor of e-juice... I mean, I'd like to TRY it. 1. It wouldn't be my FAVORITE juice, or anywhere CLOSE to my favorite juice, lol, but 2. my friends would LOVE it. Hell, they may even quit smoking if it wee close enough to the real thing. BOOM. They'd be vapers for life if I found a good (that) flavor. lloll.

No I was a little more responsible than that. I was selling 901 kits without a cut-off for 19.99 and the same juice thats still being supplied to a really popular English vendor that will have to remain unnamed. I hear their juices are wicked though .

This was back when the FDA was seizing shipments and destroying them illegally. Either Blu or Njoy took them to court and won but it was on a case by case basis so people like me who had rolled all of their profits into the shipments didnt have the money to fight it and went out of business. I was lucky that I only lost 15k. I was talking to a vendor at the first Vapefest who lost 250k.

The danger in trying that flavor of e-juice or even selling it is that some people wont be smart enough to keep it at home and all it will take is one over-eager law enforcement officer (remember they dont have to interpret the law, just enforce it) to get arrested for suspicion. Add in a reporter, bored, looking for a story and not that concerned about bias (are any of them nowadays?) and its a recipe for a disaster.

There are a couple of vendors who frequent this site (although not registered) who I will never buy from because of their insistence on selling a product that does nothing to legitimize vaping and has the potential to hurt us all in the long run.

Thats my two cents on this...if it isnt available for someone to abuse in the first place then its not an issue.

Just wanted to add that this might SEEM to have gotten a little off topic but we all know why they are questioning us to begin with.

I just mentioned it since ; firstly you asked where he is from, and secondly because of your extreme negative reaction to his comments about what police know or not know. There seemed to be a cultural difference that you were unaware of. Police are very different from country to country. No guns for eg. makes differences so - vast that you just won't be able to understand.......

Oh and I may be wrong, but I think that quoting from another thread and moving a fight to a new thread is against the rules of the forum.

That is the most unbelievably naive statement I've ever heard on the subject of drug addicts and drug addiction, bar none. You've got absolutely no idea what your talking about and that is completely and totally apparent right off the bat, IMMEDIATELY. Immediately. I PITY anyone that listens or reads that and is close minded enough to agree or believe that line of thought. You have absolutely NO RIGHT to say ANYTHING LIKE THAT if you've never A. Been addicted to a truly addictive drug or B. Known/Cared about/Loved someone thats gotten themselves addicted to a truly addictive substance.
