I received my DSE901 on Thursday from the smokeless shop. It only took 2 days to get it and that was awesome. I was so excited to try it. Took it out of the box started smoking it right away and didn't like it at all. I started coughing everytime I took a hit and it is tasted very bad. I was going, what's going on. I've been smoking marlboro reds for 20 years and never coughed like this, but I'm stubborn and kept hitting it and still coughing after every hit. Now 4 hour later I said I had enough of this and had a regular smoke. Went to bed saying what did I get my self into.

Now it's Friday went to work got home I recharged the batteries. Tried it again samething coughing like a banshee and it still tastes like crap even with the stawberry flavoring. well I did the samething for 4 or 5 hours more and gave up.

Now it is today and it a differnt ballgame. The awful taste went away I'm not coughing very much anymore and the vaper is producing very well.

So to sum everything up and to say anything to new people wanting to try this. Just give it time. One it looks like you need to break the E-cig in and you must adjust to smoking a differnt product. It took me 3 days and I'm glad I stuck to it.

When I first started, it was with two other guys at the office, we all ordered at the same time. I coughed like hell for a week. The other two had NO PROBLEM at all.
One of the guys has been smoking for many many years just like me. One of the guys didn't smoke much at all, social smoker.

So go figure. Some tolerate it better than others I guess. I never had problems after that, one day I woke up, and it didn't make me cough anymore.

The taste is a combination.
Atomizers taste like crap when they are new. It goes away in a day, or 2, or 3... depends how hot it is I think.
juice that comes with it tastes crappy, that's the general consensus. 3rd party stuff, like Puresmoker Cash juice is muuuuch better.

Guys,

I'm curious to know...did you all immediately give up smoking analogs, are you (or did you) mix the two up at the beginning?

I had to mix, two reasons.

First one, was I was coughing too much to get my nic the first week ;-)

Second reason was, even when I got used to them, 16mg was waaaaay to low for me, so I still had to "go outside" occasionally to top-up.
Switching to 24mg immediately got rid of that requirement, and happy ever since.

Although many recommend starting LOW and going up with strength if you need it.... I don't agree. If you start low, you might give up on e-cigs, and you won't know why it doesn't work for you. And you won't have an option, since "low" is all you got... you can't make "low" stronger.

If you start a bottle of 24mg liquid for filling your carts, and it's TOO MUCH for you, it's only 5 minutes to go to the drugstore, grab some PG (or VG) and water it down a bit to whatever you need :)

After you figure out what you want/crave/need, it's easy to get the next order with that figure in mind.
