So, I've come home for Christmas (from NY back to Indiana), and spent my first night back out with an old classmate I've reconnected with. I've been tobacco-free for 16 days, and of course to keep that up, I brought my e-cig (Riva/eGo and 510) with me, along with a wide array of juices to keep me sane during the trip. Also, I had no difficulties with travel. I had my Riva batteries in a small portable humidor(like a pelican case) in my carry-on, atomizers/cartridges in my laptop case, and juices in my 3-1-1 ziploc bag. I also had a 510 in a PCC in my laptop case as well.
Well, needless to say, while out drinking during pub trivia, we'd take the occasional 'smoke' break outside. I talked her into giving my e-cig a try, loaded with Liberty Flights' clove black(excellent flavor by the way), instead of her usual Djarum. She was very impressed, and after the first time, she was using my 510 to vape away the rest of the night.
Later, at karaoke, my Riva drew even more attention, particularly from a couple of her friends, one of whom tried it, and was impressed enough with the experience(vaporsetc's bananas foster) to ask where she could order one. Also, one very inebriated fellow who initially mistook my eGo with the 1000 mAh battery for a giant cigar began calling me 'the godfather', a nickname which I'd like to keep going.
I'll update this a bit more, as I'm leaving Indiana for a week in Las Vegas with a friend. Hopefully my tale will continue to be interesting.
