Hello everyone, I've been very interested with Clapton coils since rip trippers posted his Clapton tutorial a few years ago and after watching the Clapton coils evolve for the last couple years, last week I decided to try my hand at buildings some fused Clapton for my first Clapton's. So I went on Amazon and bought some 24g kanthal and 36g kanthal. My first attempt wasnt really all that bad imo. I wasn't using swivels, just supporting the loose 24g and letting the 36 wind on it was a pain in the ....

Straightened out about 3 feet of 24g doubled it up on my swivels leaving me with about 1.5 feet of parallel 24g. I then attached my 36g to the bit of wire perpendicular to the wire in my drill stuck a pen in my spool and spun away. It was so much easier than the first time. And they were nearly perfect I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try building fused Clapton's.

I started vaping about 9-10 months ago. I got into RTAs with in a month or so. Drop in coils are a pain. But I didn't start making my own clapton till maybe 2 or 3 months ago. It snowballed. Lol.
I've had more expensive hobbies that were much less rewarding.

My first builds were single coil ni200 for TC on my Sigelei 150tc. Vaping has come a long way in short spans.

Yeah I feel you there lol I first started vaping about three years ago, I stopped smoking cigs for about a month then it seemed I just wasn't fully satisfied with just using a cigalike so I gave up for a few months. Then I was gifted an ego/ce4 pen and I stopped cigs for a couple months but still wasn't fully satisfied. Then I decided to get an istick 50w with a subtank plus and an igo-w. That's where I fell in love with building. I would throw anything my device would handle on them. Haven't smoked in almost 2 years And now I'm rocking a vtc mini with a wotofo sapor with a 24g 6/7 wrap dual coil at 50w to save battery. Got a rx200s and a Pharaoh on its way right now I can't wait.
