My first go at mixing...Mothers Milk Clone...Lets start with a question

I've just finished reading this thread. It took me a couple of weeks for two reasons. First, because I was trying things as I went along and second, because some of the posters here make reading very difficult. All that no punctuation stuff and other weird attempts at grammar. I mean... whyevenbotherputtingspacesinthereifyourenotgoingtoendasentencewhyevenfoolaroundwithspacesbetweenyourwordsitjustmakesnosensetomebutthenagainihaveabainenglishsoimaybemoresensitivetothosethingsbutatthesametimeIrealizethatitisacommonproblemIsuspectisaresultoftextmessagingbutIthoughtitwasmainlylimitedtotheteenieboppersbutnowIthinkthatmaynotbethecaseentirely

Can you say LOL?

Anyway, I've tried several variations using the OP's recipe but altering a couple of flavors and percentages. Having never tried genuine MM I can't say if anything I've done comes remotely close. But you know what? It doesn't even matter. Everything has been good - some better than others. I find it interesting that aside from Strawberry and Vanilla Custard, the other flavors have been more or less interchangeable in this thread, at least as it pertains to taste. Some say marshmallow, others yellow cake, etc. And the major theme is a light strawberry flavor with heavy creaminess. So far I've only tasted one variation from a vendor...Udder Milk from vapingzone.com since their b&m is just a few miles from my home. I love it. But I also love what I have made too. My final thought is...and this is really only applicable to those like myself who have never had the original...who cares if it's identical? For the past couple of weeks I have been vaping my DIY variations all day every day. And while I plan on continuing the journey of varying the ingredients and trying some of the others suggested here, I also say that this has been one of the most fun flavors I have played with because the results have always been super tasty. Here's where I started:

View attachment 381532

Last batch I cut the strawberry down to 6% and gave that extra 4% to the cheesecake. I like that much better but am very interested in trying the yellow cake somewhere in the mix. At any rate, this is a great combination to play with and unless someone were to physically hand me a free bottle of the original, I'll never even try it.

So what your saying is because there wasn't proper punctuation you took weeks to read the thread I find that funny also you've never even tried actual mm so how could you possible contribute to the mm clone thread you sir are the reason I don't use ecf anymore ungrateful POS funny thing is I have a almost dead on mm recipe I came back on to share it but now that I read your disrespectful comment I think I'll just keep it to myself I don't seen the point in punctuation when your typing with your phone waste of time just like ecf and people like you I'm out of this SH peace

Lol - his post was kinda TL so I DR.

In any case - I actually picked up a bottle of 0mg MM this week as my amazing local vape shop Juice Box Vapor (no affiliation - just really, really like the guys there) was having a 30% off ALL JUICE ALL YOU CAN BUY loyalty sale. Unfortunately I was a day late, so all the 6mg MM was gone, but bought the zero thinking I could add my own nic.

I was SHOCKED.

First off, my MM was really old - like - several months (various batches ranging from 4 to 6 months) and the flavor had changed dramatically (for the better I think). The new zero tastes a lot more cinnamony, and really lacks the depth of flavor I was getting from the old stuff.

I'm not sure if it helps or makes things more difficult when trying to pinpoint flavors for a clone, but if you like MM, you should definitely buy 2 bottles and let one steep for a couple months. It's pretty nuts.

Wow, a little touchy, aren't we? He said LOL. I do agree that it does make it difficult to read. I guess I'm a POS too. :)

I'm not sure what the born on date is on my bottle, but I sure do taste the cinnamon.

This thread died down in a hurry!

On this end I'm still working on it, but have yet to get even remotely close. I'm having trouble getting my mixes even close to as sweet without having fruits completely overpower or start to taste chemically. I've tried TFA Sweetener, and upping the TFA Cotton Candy, but really have no clue how she gets things so sweet.

Anyone gotten close recently?

I tried a few variations that I seen in this thread and found them to be very very good, but never had the original and no intentions of spending $22 for it so cant compare.

...I don't seen the point in punctuation...

That's obvious! :p My 20 yr old is the same way.

It was supposed to be funny. Try laughter man...it makes the world a better place.

I have some MM coming to me now thanks to a good buy I found on it. I've read the various thoughts here and am especially intrigued by one from the 20th page of this thread. Also will be enlisting the help of a local guy who claims to have a knack for figuring things out. I've told him that there are some obviously very good palettes here who have tried everything short of witchcraft and wizardry to no avail. But anyway once I get my taste for the genuine article I can then feel I've "earned" the right to post comments here. You should feel free to post your almost dead on recipe. Then we can try it and give you that constructive criticism or heap on the praise.

Having gone through 6 bottles thus far, no recipes with the various ingredients mentioned in this thread are anywhere close. Not that there aren't some solid recipes, but if the intention is to find a clone, we're no closer than when we started.

Strangely enough, when vaping some of my fresh MM this morning, I was actually able to taste what seemed to be guava. I'd experimented with TFA Guava in the past, and found it to be BEYOND AWFUL - 1% simply destroyed a batch, but today it seemed present in small dosages. One difference beyond the MM being relatively fresh, was that the guava came out with relatively dry wicks. I'm sure everyone who drips can attest that the first hit tastes significantly different than the last - strawberry and fruit tends to dissapate early giving way to some more vanilla later, and eventually the most potent funk tones seem to come through. That seemed to be the case this morning, though as always, it could also be an idea planted in my brain from when it showed up in a reddit clone thread a while back.

Looks like an excellent recipe--I am going to give it a go- TY

I'm currently obsessed with another strawberry custard/condensed-milk vape..... Vaping birdy *Empress penguin* Imo is much better as far as strawberry vapes go..... and I suggest we all change direction, and try to clone Empress penguin!??

I'd love to try, but I haven't tried many strawberry vapes that I really care for tbh, and $25 is to much for me to try another. Recently I've tried CRFT Strawberry blond, Hooked Captain's Wench, Overcast (name forgotten), Boosted, and the various Space Jam offerings, and none of them really do anything for me. The only other strawberry I've liked has been Unicorn's Milk, and even that's not mind blowing.

To me, pretty much everything is extremely similar other than MM, and as I said, the new MM batch I got is kinda unimpressive.

Btw, I tried a little cinnamon danish and guava recently (TFA) and both were extremely overpowering. If anyone is going to try these in a mix, I recommend diluting them first - 1ml pg / .25ml flavoring, and work with that. This was the reason I went away from guava quite a while back, and remains true for me still.

It's better than all of aforementioned strawberry vapes..... I've tried all of those plus.....Its really good.... subjective of course, but I keep going back to it..... After trying others..... I don't have it or any other as an ADV (2 or 3 a day) but it gets most of my attention which is breaking the bank! $78 for a 120ml but 17ml could be had for $11.99......if you are willing to give strawberry another shot it's really worth it! If you do try it and it's not orange.... Let it steep...... Sometimes I get a bottle that's yellow and while it's still good.......... it just hasn't steeped as good as it should!

I made a batch of this last week but I didnt have one or two of the flavors so I substituted one or two and I must say I came out REALLY good!!! I like MM but I wished it had a touch more Strawberry and this cures that itch!

The Strawberry is Loranns BTW. All others are TFA.

I tried a 5 ml batch and its really tasty after about a week, hopefully in a month or so it will get better! It smells amazing! Its a touch red (pink) cause the strawberry has a red tint to it, but MM also has a weird color to it after its aged a while so I dont really care.

After vaping 30ml of the original, I must say that I have found better recipes in this thread that I enjoy far better. Original MM doesn't do it for me. In fact the OP's recipe is far tastier imo, but I am about to make this one and think it will be better still. And to top that off, this daggum thread...man...I've bought a slew of flavors due to this thread. Have had insults hurled my way over never having tried it, the fact is when enough people make a fuss about something I just have to check it out. So, off to the lab to make another batch of juice found on here. Folks here are just plain awesome!

BUMP!!!

So still no further progress getting closer to MM, but it definitely seems to me as though she's changed her recipe over the last few months. Things taste WAY different than they did 6 months ago. More cinnamon, less vanilla, generally less creamy.

That said, I've become a HUGE fan of CRFT Strawberry Blonde recently. Very strong strawberry, pretty sweet, and very marshmallow-y on the exhale. Think it may be time to start working on a clone.

Do you think that she possibly switched from some V1 flavors to a V2 flavor such as Capella's Vanilla Custard?
