My first good mod

Hello everyone,

I finally bit the bullet and got those 5 posts needed after almost 1 year of stalking this forum, especially the modding part
Yes, you all got me addicted to modding heh.

After countless of not so pretty (some even ugly mods) i finally managed to pull off something that i'm happy with. I posted it in the new members forum along with a question about the air hole would be great if anyone could point me in the right direction so i can up my modding skills

Put the air hole below the coil if possible. You want it so it pulls the most air across the coil. Look at the bulli a2-T if you do not understand what I mean. I would also like to know what type of tube you used.

Hi,

The tubing is just a plain piece of ego-t type B atty or any ego battery tubing
The threads were taken from some F1 atomizers or whatever they are called.. those with a cap like a pencil (that cap is golden imo)

Very easy to do and very very cheap.

Regarding the air hole: i know how the bulli works and my black atomizer works the same way, but the silver one with the vertical coil is the one i was asking about.

You want it next to the coil and drilled so it is between the negative and positive posts. You always want the air flow to run directly across the coil.

Try this, check out the info on the LINE it is a vertical mesh wick atomizer and was modded by Scubabatdan to improve the draw. Here is the post;

Start with a really, really small hole, size of a needle or pin head ! and maybe one on each side of the wick could work best possibly, and when I say small, I mean really small. you can always enlarge them, but I dont think you will have to.

Hi,

I made a new version, an improved one.

The problem i was having was with the lateral air hole.. too much hassle to make sure the coil is always at the right height, as being 1 or 2 mm up or down and the atty would not have worked. And this is the problem of all the rebuildables imho .

So i made the airhole in the bottom part of the atomiser, using a carefully bent ce2 tube. This way the air comes from the side and exits directly under the coil. Now it doesn't matter if the coil is straight on the posts or a little below or a little up... the air always comes form the bottom

And the vapor and flavor is much improved because of this

As a side note, reducing the size of the wick spike also helps with flavor and vapor.
