My first kfl+ v2

Okay guys here it goes I bought the ehpro kfl+ v2 from my local BM he charged me 45 bucks for it then I should've caught it when he said they had to build it for me before I took it from the store (no return) well he built it I wasn't blown away by it but everyone says great things about the Kay fun any version so I get it home and its hard to draw off it then the top cap came off sideways it tastes burnt turning my clear juice brown please if some one can assure me that they didn't pull a fast one knowing they sold me a defective unit if y'all can tell me how I can enjoy it like everyone else thanks
PS the build is 0.8 with ekowool I've tried firing it on my MVP 2 and my copper nemesis clone

If it is burning juice that quickly on a new build it most likely is not wicking correctly.
Could be due to a poor build.
Could be due to the juice channels being too shallow.
Might be due to a really thick (ala high or pure VG) which can be trickier to get a KF to run correctly with but far from impossible.
With very hot builds wicking could become an issue, but at your stated impedance that is not likely.

And of course could be a mix of the aforementioned.

I recommend you watch some vids on builds and setups and become familiar with the device yourself so you can really get in there and trouble shoot for yourself

.8 is pretty low for a Kayfun. The sweet spot, if you go by most reports (and my own experience) is 1.2Ω-1.8Ω.

Watch this video and rebuild your coil with organic cotton.

I build my kayfun v2 black at .9 and its great, the draw is perfect, not tight not too much
I paid more for mine though

Currently running my KFL at 0.8Ω, and I prefer my Kayfuns at .08-1.0Ω on my mechs. So low resistance isn't the problem.

A poor build with wicking issues is probably at fault.

These things are far from maintenance free, and you'll need to learn how to build it properly.

I'd think a responsible vendor would send him home with a higher Ω coil for the first build. May have reduced or eliminated any issues. With the learning curve both using and building up Kayfuns starting conservative makes sense to me. Just my

Thanks for the suggestions guys I ended up rewicking his coil with my peaces and cream yarn its night and day I found out while pulling his ekowool out that he chocked the wick it was black in the middle now its a dream could be better but I'll see when I build my own coil
Its a shame I think I can beat his coil and he owns the shop I don't
