To start with this is my very first post here. I have read quite a bit here, watched videos here, and learned a lot. I have been using ecigs now for almost a month. Now here comes my long post which is a combination of my whole experience so far..

I started with a Green Smoke device.. It was over priced and I never should have ordered it mainly for that reason. Excluding the price the device worked pretty well, good vapor, pretty good taste, etc. Okay battery life. It also arrived quickly. I keep it around for a backup now.. The auto battery sensor(?) that turns it off and on they seem to mess up easily. I have to tap it some times to get it to turn off or get it to turn on... Wow i got two paragraphs down and the green smoke starts turning off and on by itself again, I had to come up here and mention that..

Then I ordered some juice from Johnson Creek. I got a sample pack from them. It arrived fast, price was reasonable and they taste very good. (compared to 2 other juices I will mention later). I would recommend them. Every flavor I got was good, peach is one my favorites. I asked them via email what ecig they recommended they pointed me towards a joye 510 or Blu.

in part their response was "....The office has tried just about every form of e-cigarette available and they keep going back to their generic JOYE510 e-cigarette and their blu e-cigarette..." Honestly i was surprised they answered the question at all..

So I ordered a Blu from blucigs.com (which Johnson Creek owns), few days later it still had not shipped and I had came to the conclusion I should have got a 510 from reading here and other places. I canceled the order, which was easy to do on their live chat...

I ordered a 510 and extras from eSmokeClub. Long story short I recommend this place quite highly with the exception of their smoke juice (i'll get to that). Anyway the 510 kit was $40 works as well or better than expected. Black with Blue LED, I like the blue LED ;). I also got an extra atomizer, some blank carts, and some smoke juice (Apple, Strawberry, Marlboro, Camel, and Vanilla).. The smoke juice has a funny taste mixed with it.. I dont know why, they dont say on their site if they use PG or VG, I emailed them asking which they use, no response yet. The flavors are not bad but.. I wanted a 510 pass through but they were out, so... Besides their juice everything was great, they had good customer service, etc. I accidentally ordered 1 wrong item and they called to tell me! Quite nice.

I ordered 2x 510 pass through (with inline battery) from route66vapor. I also got a pack of cartomizers (USA mix, which are horrible tasting) in case i ran into some issue with my atomizers later on, and some liquid pepper (Dr Pepper) smoke juice. The juice isnt bad I would describe it as pretty close to flat dr pepper taste and there is no extra funny taste like the other juice. I would imagine their other juices are good.. Their customer service was good and order got here fast. They put a few of their business cards in there and hand wrote something on my order with a hand drawn turkey lol. I would defiantly recommend this place.

It is a few days into using all this new stuff and.. Next I posted this post you are reading now..

Next I plan on ordering an eGo pass though battery and or a eGo kit instead of getting more 510 batteries and moving to a LR atomizer. I might just get a kit if I can find a real good price on one. I also need to get a reasonable case and a drip tip. I so want to try the smoke juices I see at a few of those big smoke juice sites but I really do not need more juice lol.

Before I started ecigs I was a pack a day smoker.. I had quit for a few months here and there and knew I had a TON more energy when I didnt smoke. This way I can still enjoy all the benefits of smoking and still have all that energy. I feel a ton better physically, its just night and day. I had to mention this.. Anyway I figure I will be a long time ecig smoker now.

I do have one question I have not ran across yet... Has anyone seen or can I make, etc Smoke juice that has no or near no visible vapor? I want it for work.. I can pretty much get away with smoking it now, but I really dont need the visible part, at least at work.. Im thinking water instead of PG or VG, but i have NO experience in this.. so.. and this might mess with the flavor, etc.. no idea..

Thanks all for reading..

No vapor?!! That's what makes vaping, well... vaping. Without it you might as well stick on a patch, put in a stick of your favorite flavor gum, and suck on a straw:)

I'm not sure exactly how you would stay from having the vapor, maybe someone else has some ideas. As for getting an eGo kit at a decent price, you can pick one up at MyFreedomSmokes for around $48 with the coupon code "smoke". Liberty Flights has the eGo passthru for $21 with the 20% discount.

Welcome to ECF.

Welcome to ECF and the world of vaping uolamer.

To reduce the vapor, find a supplier that has 100% PG juices. PG provides less vapor than VG. Then you can try "stealth" vaping. Inhale and hold for 5 seconds or so. The amount of vapor exhaled will be greatly reduced.

I highly recommend going with the Ego kit. The batteries will go for 6-8 hours of use without a charge. You will need a new charger anyway for the larger batteries, which comes with the kit. The regular 510 charger will work on ego batts, but will be much slower on recharge time. You cannot however use an ego charger to recharge reg 510 batts. Too much output for the small battery.

Welcome Uolamer:)

Glad you persevered and became a vaper:) This is how I stealth vape at work: I take a puff, hold it for a long time, and then take my arm and put my inner elbow part up to my mouth and blow into the crick of my arm into my shirt. No vapor escapes because it's not smoke- it's water! Of course, this won't work in the summer when you wear short sleeves. I think a hankie would work too. Any cloth will absorb 100% of the vapor because it's water based.

Okay, just did an experiment and even a paper towel halts all vapor from showing up on exhale.

And I use 100% VG so my vapor production is massive LOL!

I never thought about the fact cloth or something would just stop it. I have mainly PG ones now and they seem to not put off that much visible vapor anyways, yeah im still getting the hang of everything. Dont get me wrong I live the visible fog of smoke, just cant get away with that on the floor of a retail store lol.

as far as the eGo I started adding up what I would need and figured yea I might as well get a kit, 2 batteries, charger, atomizers all the stuff i will use. Cant beat $48 so I already ordered it. Im gonna have to cut down on my ordering soon, this is turning into an expensive hobby lol. I have enough stuff for months, maybe a year except for juice..

The juice i mentioned in my main post that tasted funny was red colored, came in a clear bottle with a purple top seems to be custom labled for them, but im guessing they dont actually make it. The Dr Pepper is Dekang and was reasonable if not somewhat good.

I want to get into making my own juice, I probably will after I try a few more.

man this forum is great.

only thing that concerned me so far is the tip of the cart seems to have got a tiny bit melted on one side.. Im lining it up how I should, not sure what to think about that..

Glad to hear you got the eGo. You're going to love it! As far the cartridge melting a bit, that usually does happen when it's not lined up w/ the bridge, but you said that was okay. Maybe you did it without realizing. No harm, though. The only other time I've had that happen is when I was using the cartridge as a drip tip. I think it was just sitting too close to the atty without any filler in it. I just cut a bit off of the end of the cartridge and it solved the problem. Or, just try another cartridge. That one may have been made just a bit too long.
