Hello,

About a year ago I wanted to quit smoking and i got a Blu starter kit. It didn't really work for me ,so i started smoking again soon after .

A few weeks ago i decided i really do want to quit smoking so i dug up the old blu e cigg kit . The idea of it is great but the battery died like every 20 min and it felt like it took a lot of effort to smoke it.. like i was breathing in just air not actually smoking. not really relaxing .. and i smoke to relax.

Anyway.. I did some research and I ordered a Joye 510 t. I like the idea of ordering and using different juices.

my question is, will there be a big difference between the Blu and the joye 510 t?

I would like to feel like im not just breathing in air , plus i would like to taste the e juice better, and have somewhat of a throat hit..

Thanks

Huge diff in throat hit. Blu has nearly none. Ego T will deliver way more flavor too. Throat hit has alot to do with nicotine level. The higher the more TH you get. To me 12mg seems smooth and 18 kicks a lil, but above that I vape too much and get a headache. All in all the T will impress your senses compared to the Blu, especially old Blu. New ones seem a lil better.

I don't know about blu, but 510-T paired with boge Low Resistant (LR) carto is great for cig sized pv. I personally don't like the atomizer-tank (commonly called atty-tank) on any system. They do work great for a short time, then the leaking & burnt problem emerge. And I found that all type of atty-tank system mutes flavor and throat hits. Not worth tinkering IMHO. And there are some warning about using LR (2.0 ohm or lower) with small batteries such as 510-T batts; sometimes the batteries internal fried. But I have using my 510T batts with boge LR cartos for over 6 months now, haven't got any problem with them. So, if you go this route, do it on your own risk. Or, if you prefer a safer route, get some boge standard resistant (SR)for your 510T. I prefer LR ones because the lower the resistance makes thicker and warmer vapors, more flavor too. I use SR cartos for my provari, runs them @5-6volts. FYI: any joyetech pv are running @3.3 volts regulated, while some clones running @3.7 volts and diminishing along with how much power in the batt.

If you don't mind a slightly larger pv, just get a Kgo kits along with boge LR cartos. Kgo batts are larger, more powerful, last longer between charges, and won't get fried using LR cartos. Great starter kit for anyone, IMHO.

Good catch! I thought they were talking about the ego-T.

Congrats on your purchase. 510-Tank systems are great but can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Make sure you know how to operate it 100%, even down to the type of juice (never 100% VG). I have a 510-T setup but I've already ordered a better battery and LR cartos to use, instead of the atty+tank and small batteries. It will probably work out will for you! If you have any questions about the 510-T, I am more than happy to help, and I know everyone on ECF is also willing to help.
