My first LR atty lasted all of 30 seconds...

I finally decided to try a LR atty. It came in today and I just got the chance to sit down and try it. Loaded a cart with juice, dripped four drops on the atty, and started vaping. First couple of hits were pretty good. Third hit? There wasn't one. Atty was dead.

It isn't flooded. I blew it out and got nothing. I will let it sit and try again tomorrow but I am pretty sure it is dead.

Contact the vendor. If you just purchased it, that's a bonafide DOA replacement. Two hits is still new/DOA as long as you're not vaping over 3.7v.

I used it on a Tornado.

I'm not gonna bother the vendor with this. They are an excellent company that has done right by me many times. I will just pick up a few more on my next order. I wasn't posting this because I was upset with the vendor, I was just disappointed because I had not yet experienced the awesomeness that is an lr atty, and now it will be a bit before I can. lol

I got one that didn't work at first, but after a few blow outs and refills it was right as rain. Probably just over primed. As posted above though, send it back unless you're using it for anything above 3.7 volts.

Edit: I performed a dry burn on it as well, just enough to see it glow to ensure it was working.

I know that feeling. I make sure I have at least four of each type of atty I use, on hand at all times.

Personally I would still send it back to the vendor as most of em do accept returns of DOA merchandise. I could be wrong on this but I would guess they send em back to their distributor as faulty.

if it's any consolation, I just burned out my first LR after almost 6 weeks, using it about 75% of the time constant vaping...

I did - as soon as it stopped vaping... mine's wide open....

Yeah i can believe it. I use LRs exclusively and tho I never had one die that quickly it happens and thats why most suppliers wont give a warranty on them...some go as far as not even if they are DOA. Still The are my favs and still prefer them.

stick with them, im still on the same one after about 3 weeks and its still puffing like a train.
