This is an rsst on top of a 4.8V Nimh power house lol.
The box is a project box from radio shack, push button from radio shack with a 510 connection topped with an ego/510 adapter.
The batteries are Energizer 750 mAh aaa batteries. The batteries are held in the box with a removable 4X aaa battery holder.
If I want 3.6V for my DCT I put a battery blank in place. When the rsst is out and I need a heavy hitter I put the 4th battery in.
It's not pretty; but for about $10 it rocks.

My next mod will be much nicer and VV. my goal is to still keep it around $10. Part of the goal includes the mod being made with a minimal tool set and to have the visual part of the mod made of common household items. The 510 connector, wire and solder obviously Won't be standard household items for everyone.
When its done i will post it here with instructions and a parts list.

Yea it's a puck version. You may notice the "oh @&$;" hole on the top next to the atomizer. I was going to make the hole for the 510 off center. I was using a step drill bit and drilled the hole too wide lol. Ill get some interior pics soon.

I'm waiting for the vv module from fast tech. I wanted to find a step up module but they exceeded the ~$10 budget. So I ordered some 3A step down converters.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Here is the internal view. I will be putting a 3A quick acting glass fuse in it soon as well.

As an aside, I bought some aaa nimh from harbor freight. They say 900 mAh. Ill test them some time to verify. They were about 5 bucks for 4 and they ladt almost all day with a 1.5 ohm coil. Not too shabby.

Madvapes has a pretty good collection of mod parts.
Boxes, switches, connectors, etc.

And is there any particular reason you called it a Ghetto ROCKET?

Doesn't LOOK like a Rocket.

With the rsst on it standing up, it looks like and old rocket to me lol.
I called it ghetto because I drilled a hole off size and just drilled another next to it.

Nice variation on the puck!I'm building a puck and a 14500 mod myself.Would love to see a how-to on this one.I just wish my local Shack carried the project boxes.:vapor:

Thanks Stephen. Ill make a tutorial for this for sure. If you can't find a project box ill go to the dollar store and see what can be used.
Ill start making it up soon with a parts list. Ill try to make the tutorial easy especially for people that may not have a lot of tools or experience with tools.
Everyone is a tinkerer. Some people just have more experience tinkering.

I am renaming the mod to the Bredbox.
I will post a tutorial over the weekend with the parts needed, estimated time needed and estimated cost. Trying to keep it near 10 dollars.
I will be posting on ecf and the blog. Feel free to stop by and subscribe.
There is also a comments section there. I will be testing many things vaping, let me know what you all want to see
