my first mod. built out of necessity!

Yesterday, at work, my mechanical mod fell out of my shirt pocket and dropped about 7 feet on to the concrete. When I climbed down and picked it up I saw that the button was bent. I had to straighten it out before I could use it and when I tried to it sheered off!!! I grabbed a few parts I could find that I might be able to use to make another button and built one after I got off work.

Jeez. Tough crowd here! Necessity is the mother of invention and you just took the first step into potential addiction. Congratulations on the MacGuyver-esque repair. My first mod (pics in a post somewhere on this site) was caused by a similar issue.

Agreed, good job on fixing it yourself instead of just coming on here, posting pics of the broken mod, and complaining about it! KUDOS SIR!
