Ok, so this is a follow up of a project I had thought of in this thread, you can read more as to WHY I would want to make something like that there (being tired of it falling down is one of them
).
This prototype I just got done is of course a little bit bigger, but it can house ANY size tank (up to 30 millimeters wide tanks) and pretty much any size battery whenever it's the standard 14mm or 16-18mm fattys or even the 20mm appolo's (spaceship).
Here are some pictures, it's not the prettiest thing but it's my first, total cost is around $10 plus parts of an old clearomizer (of course my cost was much more as I had to test lots of things + get some tools hehe).
I don't have a KnuckleHead tip yet (forgot to order it) but it should/will work better with it (see screenshot in THIS THREAD where I started the project).

The copper washers are the only ones I could find at my local hardware store that fit the connectors (will change that to silver washers if I made another since I now have an 11/32 drill bit.

The 2 outside screws are to hold the 2 pieces of 1/4 wood together, they are recessed (not centered coz finished at midnight and was tired hehe) I went with screws so that I could take it apart if needed. The hold in between them is an access to the screw that tightens the battery connector, I don't need to touch it once set since I can rotate it where I want it and it has enough friction to not move easily, I still wanted access though.

Left is the 510 connector for the atom/clearo/tank and right is the battery connector (510's)

Same as previous but installed a 510 to eGo adapter (also helps since the tanks are usually much smaller than the batteries.

Here is the setup with me VERY OLD riva 650mah battery and a Vision Vivi Nova 3.5ml tank (notice where the battery button is).

Another view of it, notice how the button is now facing the side of the box, super easy to turn yet enough friction that it will never move by itself.
In my original thread, I was planning on making it 3/4" thick (3 slice of 1/4 wood) but after numerous change to the plan and as I learned and found other ways to do things, I was able to make it only 1/2" thick
Dimension of the prototype (can make much smaller):
60mm x 28mm x 15mm (measuring all the way up to the top of the connectors).
Remember this is a prototype/proof of concept
