I know you probably don't want to take the chance, but I can almost guarantee you'll have no problems. Thanks, it was fun to put together and it works great, battery has lasted me all day and it's still going strong, 15 hrs and counting! Too bad I have to leave it at home and get on a plane tomorrow. Back to 6 standard 510 batteries per day for a couple of days. Oh well, better that than go through TSA rigamarole and risk having to leave it at the gate. I guess the next mod is gonna have to look a little more security friendly.
Its just a pressure fit, they need a tiny bit of muscle to remove. Quite secure.Nice looking mod!
Just wondering...How are the caps attached?
nice job. now you better get some polish, they get dirty easy and start to corrode.
Well, there's not really one specific link, I was inspired by the box and copper mods in the mods section of the forum, and then I just went to lowes and looked for bits that fit together with the battery I had. I'll post a pic of the guts when I have a minute.Thats pretty cool, nice job. I've wanted to make one out of copper myself, or brass, i just like the way the metal looks. Did you use a guide (link?) or just come up with it yourself?
