Made my first 3.7 mod and the th and vapor is awesome, also brought stuff to make a 5V but if I knew these would be so good I would have just got these.
Thanks to all that posted tips on making mods, I even connected the wires to the battery connector what a pitb will be buying prewired ones from now on.

That is awesome. I wish I could do that. YAY for you!

Congrats from another first time modder, built my first one over the weekend. There's something so satisfying about producing vapor from something you put together :vapor:

Yep wiring the battery connector is indeed a PITA, but as per suggestions from other members I didn't even bother disassembling it on my second mod, I soldered that sucked in there as-is and it took me all of 10 seconds but I can see how it would be easy to melt that grommet so gotta be careful.

Well FWIW there is nothing wrong with using the unsealed connectors (the ones with the hole). You just use the right sized wire (go for a semi-tight fit), pre-tin it with solder, shove it in the hole (make sure it's a little less than flush on the atty end) and just heat for a few seconds. The resultant joint is usually quite solid and easier to do right.

After you've tried a few atties/cartos it's a good idea to fill the whole cavity with epoxy. This usually helps keeps the center post in the right spot, so hopefully it will never get pushed in and lose contact.
