I finished my first pipe-mod. The pipe was a new unsmoked tobacco-pipe.
I choose it because it was cheap and not a great loss if the project doesntwork. The second reason war the great cover.
So my cover problem has been solved.
Unfortunately the pipe was too small for a 18350er battery so I had to enlarge it.
That was not a big problem because that pear wood is quite soft.
To find the position for the switch was not easy, but I think its perfect forme.
In front is an 510er connector installed and a neodymium magnet at thebottom holds the battery. The upper contact is in the pipe cover andis when the cover is closed it make contact.
Now its working with a Clearome and a Bullii-Smoker A2 classic
A few things I would do differently next time, but I am very satisfied with mywork.
It looks like very great and fits comfortably in my hand and it is a completely different steam feeling!
