It's been so long since I bought my first RDA - I'm honestly not sure which one it was. It was either:

- AIOS/TD
- Helios (17mm)
- Helios (23mm)
- Omega

The only one of those that I still have is my 23mm Helios - still a tough little atty - that was back in the days when you usually had to drill the atty out yourself(airholes AND post holes) if you actually wanted to 'subohm' or use anything larger than 26ga wire! :)

So I just received my very first rda from fasttech last week. It is by far the best vape experience I've had so far. Amazing clouds and out of this world flavor. It's a very well made VAPELYFE clone, hybrid kit. As it has the four intake holes I decided on trying my first quad coil set up and it worked surprisingly well for a first attempt. This bad boy has taken over as my favorite every day, all day set up.

Nice build! Quads aren't the easiest thing to pull off sometimes. Push them together to make "married/kissing" quads...they'll act as a single coil and heat up from the center where they touch <-> outwards.

My first RDA was a Legion clone, and it took me about a week to realize I like drippers & got myself a dark horse. I love my dark horse, it's a total monster when I throw in some cloud set ups :D

Thanks, I totally need to attempt a hot and steamy kissing quad set up next. I'm sure it would make for a slightly warmer vape than what I'm getting from my lonely quad atm.
They're great when you get them right, for each side of your deck, you need to wrap one coil clockwise and the other counterclockwise, I see your atty has a centerpost block so 4 post holes, it makes it a little bit harder to do, but not impossible. I did it once on my mutation x v3 & found that it works best when you have the lower leads of the coils going into the centerpost block. It's a bit harder to get them fully touching but it's possible. If the post holes were 1-2-3-4 (neg, pos, pos, neg), it might be easier to get them fully touching if you put coil 1 in post holes 1&3 and coil 2 in holes 2&4.

Makes sense. Thanks for the tips, so many experiments to undertake but so little building time :p
