My first smoke stick didn't work.

I called the number on the instruction booklet (which was transposed so I got the number off the website). I was told that I had purchased the old version of the smoke stic. It had been in stock at the store where I purchased it for a long time. The carterizer was a separate piece that was very difficult to get to. Almost impossible to pull off the filter (for lack of the appropriate name). I had already purchased a bunch of the filters to use with it too. The ones it came with tasted like rotten fruit and produced very little smoke. I was told that everything was probably dried up and that the NEW smoke stic had the carterizer built into the filter and you didn't need that separate silver carterizer. Since I already had the 2 batteries, the representative sent me 4 of the new filters with the carterizer built into each filter and a carrying case and a USB charger (since the old style did not come with those). He did this at no charge because of the trouble I had with the old style (and I was pretty upset because this was the second one I bought that didn't work and the store would not take it back). He assured me that it would now work well and to throw away the separate silver carterizer. IT DID WORK! I'm now very happy with my smoke stic. If anyone has the old style with the separate carterizer and they are happy with it. I would be glad to send you at no charge all of the filters I bought and cannot use.
