My First Social Outing Tonight... I'm Excited!

Tonight, I'm going to one of those tupperware parties (for jewelry), at my Mom's law firm office tonight.

It'll be my first real time using my PV in a completely social outing, with people I don't know well. I'm so excited, but anxious because I don't want to me an Anti while I'm there.

Basically I'll call it a PV or a Vapor Maker, not an e-cig. I'll point out my "vapor cloud", not my "smoke cloud" if anyone is curious.

I won't go out of my way to show people, but if they ask I'll tell.

I think most people are at least vaguely familiar with PVs by now. Although, some of them may have a negative impression from some of the anti propaganda which is being pushed by the big three.
This will be your opportunity to be an ambassador/educator. Maybe even a converter.

Tupperware Party? Wow, I didn't know they still did that. My mom used to host them way back when she was about 30-35 years old. She's 81 now.

It was kinda like a tupperware party, but for jewelry. It was great, I was able to knock off a few off the Christmas list

Only two people were curious, and I carefully led them into the explanation by calling it my Personal Vaporizer. They were extremely happy with my so-far success of quitting cigarettes! It made me very happy to be able to explain everything without looks of dissapproval! I think it had a LOT to do with the fact that did NOT use the apprehensive title of "E-cig". All in all, a great and successful night

I'm really glad to hear it went well. All of my experiences in public have so far been positive. I agree with using the name PV or Vaporizer, instead of E-Cig. I wish they would change the name of this forum in fact. )
