I'm really liking the SUB in 18350 mode with a Protank on top. Seems perfectly balanced. Now I need to get a chrome SUB or gunmetal protanks.

I use m
experienced the fire button not working, and also on the Vamo, I think I was not pressing hard enough.

fasttech has the GS SUB 2.0 full kit for $42.49.

It really concerns me that so many people are experiencing 'button-fire' issues with their GS Subs... I haven't had any with mine yet... and I vape this thing like crazy since I purchased it. I purchased mine from TheVaporGirl but I have read that some purchased from there have had these same firing issues. After a year or so of use I could understand these issues, but 'out-of-the-box' firing issues would be an immediate return for me :glare:

slap a Pro tank on that thing and you're really gona love it! ;)

I'm not sure if anyone pointed this out, but that tank that comes included, the V-Core 2.0... This is a (at least semi) rebuildable atty. I just rewicked mine after I looked at it, decided it was worth a shot to try and take it apart. It's a little cumbersome to set the ends of the coil into the bottom of the section where the coil sits, but altogether, not all that difficult to recoil. I'm just now getting into mods and rebuildables, and I plan to spend some time soon in the DIY modders forum on this site until I make my own mod from the ground up...

Also, I just got this tank from dx.com a few months ago. If anyone is looking to buy this same tank, they've got it on the cheap, and I would say it's legit for only $8.30. The con is that it took a good 3 weeks for it to arrive (only one shipping method available, came from Singapore in a steamboat, probably, but no shipping cost). Good deal:VCORE2TANK_2013-06.jpg

I'm ready to click the order button for the Bronze one. Any update on how everyone is liking theirs?

The GSub 2.0 was my first PV. While it performed well as far as VV's go, it did not last me more than two weeks. Now this is partially my fault, but also due to an inherent design flaw. The 510 connection is surrounded by plastic with the wiring being soldered to it from the VV circuitry.

Being so new to electronic cigarettes in general and being a bit of a bull in a china closet sort of person, I over tightened my Protanks at the time. Eventually, the 510 connection began to spin in place as it was not secured like you'd see in a metal construction mod. Due to the turning, the threading on the inside eventually ripped from the solder and I was forced to resolder the wiring onto the 510 connection. Not thinking to epoxy the connection to the plastic to prevent this from happening again, I ripped the wiring again, but this time it ripped free from the VV module.

At that point I gave up on it and used an Ego-C twist for a week or so before buying my MVP. Both of those have been relegated to emergency backup status since I have gotten my Sigelei #13a while my GSub currently sits in a drawer waiting to either be salvaged for parts or repaired. Since I have no real use for yet another VV device, it'll probably sit there until I decide to gut it completely and build my own mod.

TL;DR: The 510 connection is housed by unsecured plastic, over tightening will cause it to spin in place and rip it from the wiring. Otherwise it performs well.

Being I was the OP of this thread I'm sad to announce; I loved mine while it lasted, which was around 4 months.

Will I buy another? No. Not because it wasn't great, but because it wasn't great long enough for the price. :glug:

Thank you davewuvswaffles and blondeambition3! I think I will just wait for something better. It's a nice looking mod tho.

True sweet tea, It's gorgeous, and if it were to come down in price (like $40.00 or less) I'd continue to recommend it.
I own quite a few other Mods now, so saving for a better one is worth it in the long run. ;)

Thank you! I'm new to vaping...well been at it about 3 months now. Started with Blu, then moved to Ego style battery with Ce5 clearomizers. Recently got Vision Rainbow Spinner and Protank. Loving that but want MORE!! Just not sure where to go from here:confused: I've looked and looked at EVERYTHING! MM, VV, VV VW.....Got my son into vaping and he's saving for a Provari but unfortunately thats not in my price range:cry: Sooooo any help would be appreciated. Looking around 70.00 or under range, and I LOVE Pink:D Thanks for any help you can give me!

I just got a used Sub 2.0 from someone who had it for about 6 weeks and didn't like it. The tank needed cleaning badly. When I started to take it apart, the top tank tube snapped off at the bottom threads. The seller (b&m) sold me a new tube for a buck and I've finished cleaning and re-assembly. I'm leery about putting 3ml of good juice in it because the design makes no sense to me. It looks to me like a waste of juice waiting to happen.

I put an Evod on it and it's working like a champ. This is my first upgrade from my eGo set up and so far I like it and I love my BCCs. I have to believe this thing was made for a ProTank.

Does anyone understand the tank design? I'm considering drilling out the divider plate so I can (at least) tip the thing & get juice to the atty. On the other hand, I might not waste the time on it and just pick up a ProTank when I have the duckets.

Any thoughts?
