My friend screwed up his kr808-d battery...

and has handed it off to me to see if I can do anything to repair it.
Even though it shows a charge, no cart you put on will produce vapor.
If you draw on the end of the battery, the l.e.d. comes on.
It must have a charge, because it still zapped my tongue a little bit.
I've cleaned out the screw end and didn't wet it, but it still won't produce.
Is there a thread on maintaining kr808 batteries?
How do I take off the screw end so I can see how the little bugger is made without breaking everything delicate in the process?

Take a pointy object like a toothpick and insert it in the hole in the battery and wiggle it around to raise the part with the hole up a bit. The vacuum switch is working, and it is producing voltage, but the part with the hole in it is not contacting the part with the hole in it on the cart.

Well, I tried it and got one good drag...and then it started to fry the cart.
I have a feeling it was dropped or otherwise abused. Oh well, he's got others and now, I can dissect it without guilt.
