I was a menthol smoker (figured u guys couldnt have possibly gethered ;) ) so I thought I would probably start there, mentholated tobacco. I'd read that there was a chance I wouldn't dig it, had to try. I quickly realized that a *tobacco* flavored menthol e-juice probably wasn't what I was lookin' for. For me, it doesnt matter which vendor, it all tastes like nuts! (??) Thankfully my partner loves menthol so I can test all the menthols I'd like. However, I prefer a deep, rich menthol .. I can't think of any other way to describe it. My sweetie prefers the minty. Its probable that straight menthols r too BAM, "in your face" minty, & its quite possible I simply prefer a *slight* menthol added to something.. well, deep/rich etc, heh. We accidentally happened upon a chocolate mint/or menthol that tasted very full, rather than an Altoid. It surprised me, I dont care for chocolate but it kinda seems like chocolate serves as a nice base to add various flavors to. Anyways, enough abt chocolate ..

I'm still in my trial & error phase, wasted a ton of cash on juices of course, which makes me a lil' hesitant to "experiment" with a lot of different concoctions. So what flavors are deep, rich, strong, full, well-rounded flavors I can use as a foundation to build from? I'm curious abt the blueberry/blackberry from Mtbakers, but as u all know, they are *always* out of menthol flavored anything.

I'd also like to know how mixings done most efficiently. If I add menthol to something, seems to me like it may not be blended quite right. Example, u add mint to your berry clearo .. but berry is already in there, resonated in/on your wick, which makes the equation difficult unless you're willing to settle for vaping the plain berry until the menthol slowly kicks in. Would shaking it/or doing that swinging around in a circle on a string method be the way to go abt it? Its also important for me to understand how it works to add "shots" of certain highlight liquid. Ex: Some juice description state that "X" juice is a juice specifically for adding to your "Y" juice. So in that case, is this "menthol flavor shot" type liquid not really meant to be vaped alone?Or Is it the same thing as "menthol" e-juice? :?: Maybe both? Situational?

Just to put it out there, being a Newport smoker for 17 years, I'd like to just give my (newb-ish) recommendation out of 20 something different samples from maybe a doz vendors. The winner of the "Most Maniacal Menthol Award" (most prestigious commendation) drum roll please ...

Nuport~brought to you by Nhalers! (I think a spotted vaping cat directed me there, u might know them)

Runner up: Angel Tears~ by Roar Vapors. Honorable mention to Quick Nic Juice's Mint Chocolate :DThank you for reading and rock out your PV's like the rockstars you are. ;)

sorry i dont have a good menthol yet, but i add HHV menthol ice to tobaccos sometimes. someone will suggest a good menthol but try and find your good tobacco first then you can add menthol to the level you like. i use dedicated clearos for menthol tobacs and straight tobac because menthol will linger several tanks until it finally fades away. i'm still trying to find my fav tobac

Check out Johnson Creek's Wisconsin Frost! It's the only menthol I've ever enjoyed. I only like darker flavors for vaping, like coffee's and dark chocolates.

I was never much of a menthol smoker, but did occasionally bum a menthol cig off my auntie every once in a while. Now with vaping, I'm surprised how much I love mints and methols. I second the Johnson's Creek Wisconson Frost. It's really good! I DIY now, and my favorite mix is peppermint, vanilla, and menthol. It tastes like a menthol candy cane.

I've been vaping for about 6 weeks but am also a former menthol smoker and did not like the tobacco or smoky flavors added to anything. I had to switch to cigars after they started making the NFC cigarettes because I couldn't stand the taste of the new "paper". Then I had to search & search to find a really minty cigar. Anyway, so far, my favorite has been Fire & Ice from Vapors Choice. When I ran out of that, I mixed Arctic Chill & Red Hots from them & produced a very close facsimile. The mint is a peppermint like in a York peppermint pattie--not sweet and red hot candies or fire Jolly Ranchers. As for plain menthol, I like mine strong and I have found a local store that mixes it double strength to give me my fix.

A: Arctic Wolf from Vapor Gods rock for pure in your face menthol with a touch of peppermint. (yes, there is a touch in there)

B. Bulk Menthol Dissolved in PG to the point of supersaturation. Mix with Nic until your face blows off, then add a little Koolada.

I love sinus cleaners!

I smoked Newports for 30 years, and don't like the Mint Tobaccos, but I love the mints, and the fruits. (But I don't tend to mix them that much)

Mr. ELiquid menthol is like you describe. NO MINT :) I love it. I was a full flavor VA Slims Menthol smoker for 35+ years and I only vape their full flavor menthol and am finding I love even more their 'Ice Collection". Before I was taking a flavor that I liked and adding Mr. E menthol to it. After tasting some of the Ice collection I found that the menthol in those were almost PERFECT for me....I don't even need to add menthol to it, it is so good. Good luck :) I never liked any of the tobacco flavors even with menthol.
