My G4 order from Liberty Flights

I can't identify a batch number or anything. I'd like to be able to feed back information to the supplier so they can look into the defects and the one, the very single lonely one, G4 that was perfect. I'd even ship that one back for closer inspection.

Just found out it leaks a little from a connector hole. May be it should be like that?

People are experiencing various degrees of leakage and form different areas. I've tried fifteen in all, it leaked from the connector mostly but from the sides twice. And now, for the ones I had left that weren't defective or leaking like mad, they're burning out at 3.7V.

I think I'm gonna stick w/ the Boges (again)... and the clearomizer search continues. These were ~close~ with the few that were perfectly built. -Magnus

That's the direct link to the post about how many defective or poorly functioning G4s there were in the fifteen.

Do you have any knowledge that a new batch are addressing any problems? That one ~perfect~ G4 just didn't last long enough but if I could get a better overall batch I'd certainly want to keep them around. -Magnus

I was having trouble as well. I read most of the replies and posts on that thread and it was very helpful. My problem was the carto leaking out of the holes. Some one replied to my questions and told me to fill it at least 75% and put the tip in at least half way. So far so good. I did destroy a few trying to figure out the whys. I did have success making a dripper out of the two.

The ones that work, work great. But they just arent very consistent yet.

I don't know anything about a batch number. If anything, I would assume it is batch #1, as we placed a pre-order immediately after receiving word of their upcoming release. I have not been made aware of any revision at this time.

Thanks, Abe responded to my CE3 inquiry... I'd like to see those from Liberty as well if you're game. If not then please keep us posted on G4 revisions. Thanks again, -Magnus
