The GG and my UFS have been working beautifully the last couple of days. I read about putting vaseline on the threads of the GGTS, and since I hadn't done that I took it apart and lubed it. After I put it back together it wouldn't fire. I figured I just had vaseline on a contact somewhere so I took it apart again, rinsed everything with hot water, dried it and wiped the threads and insides down real well with a towel. Put it back together. Didn't fire. Took it apart and wiped all the contacts and threads down with 91% alcohol. Put it back together and still won't fire. Checked the battery, carto and spring. All good. Button screwed in tight and making contact. What am I missing??

I have had problems like this before. Try running the carto outside of the UFS. I've had cartos and atties die off on me after cleaning my UFS. Might just need to replace the carto.

The carto works fine on other mods. I tried a different carto that I had running on another mod too. Nada.

Then it must be the button house. Screw it a little more to the engraved tube
OK. I've got another bottom tube, cap and button assembled here waiting for a stealth cap. I substituted it on the GGTS and it fires. So the issue is in the lower part of the mod. I changed out the spring and that didn't seem to fix it. Curious. I just can't figure it out.

Button it was!! The larger knurled ring on it was stuck and didn't look like it was in the right place compared to my other button. I took a couple of pairs of hemostats and eased it off greased it up and put it back on. Working now!!

It will be a cold day in Hades before I take it apart to vaseline it again.

Thank you everyone who has posted to this thread. Thank you Bishopheals for your video on youtube showing how to replace the battery plunger O rings. I experienced this problem and was able to fix it due to the excellent information in this thread.

Really....thank you everyone.

Well it was fixed....at least for about a half an hour. I'm fighting major disappointment. I'm totally stumped. I haven't been able to vape with my SS GGTS longer than 30 minutes and that was for about 3 sessions since I got it about a week ago. I've taken it apart, cleaned it, replaced the battery plunger O rings, checked the button and its spring, made sure my battery was charged, and still no fire. When I replaced the battery post O rings I found the remains of another O ring and thought, "That's got to be it!" -I was wrong. I was using a 510-901 and 901-510 connector, successfully, but it just will not fire now.

I sure would like to use my SS GGTS. I don't have a clue what my issue is. Unfortunately I have to work the next 4 nights in a row 5 PM-5 AM so I won't be able to check back until sometime later if anyone has any ideas at all. I might get to do a quick flyby in the early morning hours..I'll try. There is one good thing from all of this; I'm getting to know my SS GGTS better.
