Stoked beyond belief. However, should I do any initial maintenance before I tear through the packaging like a 4 year old at christmas, whip up the quickest rba build in history (I suspect the friction of my frantic efforts will dry burn the coil before I ever install it), cram juice in the squonker as quick as I can, slide that sweet sweet power into the battery slot, and go to town? Noalox (I actually usually use Oxgard. Any issues there?) or a bubble bath or a bottle rinse or o-ring lubing or anything? I'd hate for my excitement to get the better of me and limit my long term enjoyment of my newly acquired SV (significant vaporizer...I defy you to tell me that your relationship with your Reo is less special than your relationship with your significant other :hubba: ).

if you have the patience to do anything maintenance-wise before diving in, you're a better man than i...

i *think* it was Oxgard that a few folks used before figuring out noalox was far superior. there will be a tiny baggy of noalox in your package. if your eyesight is as bad as mine, you may think it's a smudge on the Reosmods business card.

Open the package slowly and don't overlook the almost invisible reducer tube nor the tiny baggie with spare Noalox smudge behind the business card (according to the MSDS, Noalox is better than Oxgard). The switch comes already Noaloxed. You can wash the bottle and spare bottle and cap, put a little vodka or PGA in the bottle, reinstall it, and squonk it through the tube and RM2. Doesn't hurt to wash the RM2, but be aware water can be trapped under the ceramic, down in the connector, and take quite awhile to dry out.

Drop an o-ring around the 510 connector in the catch cup and screw the RM2 base on. DO NOT turn it with the screw posts! You want it to align with the atty drain away from you (about 10:00 to 2:00) when vaping (opposite the fire button the way most use it) so it and the cap air hole will be up when vaping. If it doesn't, you can add a second o-ring and try again.

That should get you started.

Ease up a bit, just be ready to enjoy the blissful vaping experience! :vapor:

I use all mine as soon as they arrive. I just build a coil, test the ohms, wick it, install it, and vape away!

Hehe...I've already built a regular, micro, and nano coil in anticipation of trying all the styles of builds. That way I can get right to the wicking and the joy.

I understand. My first resistance wire to arrive would be with my first REO/RM2, so I was practicing wrapping micro coils with bread bag tie wires around a heavy-duty paper-clip.

I had about 5 diff. coils ready to go, waiting for my grand to arrive. Probably vaped them all within the first hour of getting my reo.

I gave everything a quick rinse and a shake before I vaped it for the first time. If you give it a wash first, put a dab of noalox on the contact and you'll be set.

HAHA! My Grand 'n' RM2 arrives tomorrow and I have a 1.5, 1.3 and 1.0ohm coils in my vape drawer!

Great minds think alike, or some such!

Heh, I'll take that as a compliment. My regular, micro, and nano coils all meter to about 0.8, as that's my sweet spot, but I've done equivalent prep. What color did you get?

I got orange and black wrinkle. I loved the color in the picture hope it looks as pretty in person. Also figured, go big or go home, may as well get big bright grand! Got an orange and black drip tip on the way too.

Notch the what of the what, now? That sounds like a disastrous move. What am I missing?

Tony, the feed tube might be a little long (down in the bottle) and get suctioned to the bottom of the bottle, thus blocking the juice from being sucked up. If it is, you'll need to trim it off. If you just clip a little notch in it on one side or if you clip it a little diagonally across the bottom, it'll never be able to suction itself to the bottom. That's what he means....
