My head is spinning! Help me..you're my only hope!

I'm tired of searching through post after post and getting side tracked with youtube videos and other various reviews from other sites...so I've just decided to ask my own questions. I feel I've spent waaaay too many hours "researching" and, yet....i know. nothing.

Here's the deal. I started with a crappy e cig from my work (njoy)..sucks. Then, while ordering coupons on Camel's site , I tried my luck on some spin game and won 25 bucks! First try! I then went to ken's box mod's (how I got there? i don't know.) and ordered the only starter kit they had...an E2 510 starter kit. I liked it in comparison to the cheapies I had tried, but then it broke. I charged the battery overnight and woke up the next morning only to find it had melted the tape covering the battery and was no longer working. period. I was planning on upgrading anyways, but I'm super bummed because I got frustrated and bought a pack of smokes. (and I hadn't even received my coupons yet!)

SO. (ah, sorry..i ramble..) I'm begging someone (s) to suggest something that has a good battery that is going to last a whole day. Also, I want the best possible taste and vapor. I picked up some cotton candy from OVC and noticed the difference in taste using my cartomizers and then dripping directly onto my mom's attomizer (sp?) which is from some scam trial offer auto battery e cig. I actually preferred dripping rather then filling the cartos. (is that the right lingo? hah)

I'll try and make the more clear on what I want..in a less rambly ..run on sentence, long paragraph form:

- long lasting battery life
- good vapor, good taste (as true to the flavor as possible)
-
either a drip kit/tank combo or something that is in between. I was looking at a fluxomizer/ce2 clearomizer xl. basically, i want the option to drip when I have the time and fill up something (that is not going to burn and/or taste like poop) when i am on the go.
- my whole order less than $100

Here is what I DON"T want...or,better put,simply can't afford:

- a provari ( if and when i want to get one......i will most likely put it on my christmas/bday list)
- a lavatube
- VV ( i'm interested in these, but I don't know if I should get one just yet..being so new and all)
-box mods ( " " )
- auto batteries
- anything like the starter kit i just bought

What I have:
- syringe fill kit
-a couple aluminum drip tips
- a charger/adapter for a 501 battery
- some used cartomizers

Bless your dear heart if you have actually read all of this!

In a word? KGO
Get a starter kit, as the charger you have won't work on something like this. They have manual batteries, and they are larger than those minis, but much better, longer lasting, and much more reliable in the long run. The starter kits also come with two batteries, so while you are charging one, you can vape with the other.
They have a 510 threading, so you'll be set to upgrade later on if you want.

Something very important though, is to NOT charge batteries while you sleep over night!! Can't stress that enough! Dosen't matter what type of battery you get. You DON'T charge ANY battery overnight, or while you are away from it. And when the light turns green, you take it off. Don't let it continue to charge.

Welcome to ECF and Happy Vaping!

P.S...yes, I did read your whole post! No problemo!

Hi & Welcome to ECF! Here are a few suggestions: SLB KGO Starter Kit http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=285&category_id=22 http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=302&category_id=24 With any of these kits you would also need some e-liquid of your choice (from a vendor of your choice). Also, the first two items are carto kits, including cartomizers but no atomizer; the last one is an atomizer kit with no cartomizers. For dripping, with either of the first two I'd suggest dripping atomizers & drip tips in either 510 or 306, at the moment Cisco from Avid Vaper, in 1.8 Ohm. (That's my preference; alternately 1.5 Ohm = hotter, 2.5 = cooler, less vapor & flavor). As for the thingymizers, I'm not very well acquainted with them yet but Discount has good prices & service on what they have in stock. I've tried the earlier (short wick) version of these & like them: Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizer DV Edition (LR) If they don't have what you're looking for I'd check with Got Vapes: GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Hope this helps... Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

I ditto the advice you've already received. I liked my KGO so much I bought a second kit...they come in so many colors it's hard to decide which to get but with two kits I can swap the cones and batteries for a two tone effect. :) I bought mine from here (comes with prefilled cartridges, which I didn't care for though.) But if you add some juice and/or accessories so your total is over $55, shipping is free.

I also read your whole post, BTW. I learned from folks here at ECF to never leave batteries charging overnight, or when I'm away at work. AFAIK, it's OK to partly-charge a battery if you don't have time to let it fully charge.

Welcome! It is overwhelming at first, but if you just work with what you need to know to get started and then learn a little bit more each day, it's very doable. You seem like you've already done a lot of research and you understand the different setups, so you will do well.

I like to drip when I'm sitting at my computer, but when I just want to pick up my PV and vape without stopping to top off, I've had good luck with the Vision clearomizers. Just be sure you get the right ones for whatever PV you buy.

I'm a complete newb too, and just received my KGO kit from DarkCityVapor.com a few days ago. I've been completely happy with it. So I'll add a +1 to all the above recommendations for the KGO.

I'm too much of a newb to help with atomizers, etc. But if you go with the KGO, I would recommend the SmokTech XL 1.7 cartomizers. They are better than the cartomizers that are included in the KGO starter pack, and you get a free juice sample too. Here's a link to the ones I'm talking about: Smok Tech XL 510 Single Coil Cartomizer - 5 Pack

KGO from hoosierecigsupply.com. While you're there, get a box of stainless steel Boge 2 ohm cartomizers. Then jump over to phiniac.com and get yourself a regular size pyrex tank. The tanks are built to take abuse so don't fret about it being glass. I've put mine through hell and back and it's not even scratched.

Easy decision! Buy a Lavatube Mod from Bigvape.com. I costs $74.99 and free shipping. It has the Lavatube, 2 batteries, charger, High Voltage atomizer, and a drip tip. You can drip and adjuct voltages from 3V to 6V and find the voltage you like best with each juice. There is no need to decide which atomizer, which tank, etc. It is easy to work and definitely last for more than a day

The OP clearly stated that she doesn't want a mod at this time.

why post a reply if you have not read the entire post first?

I made the minor mistake of buying a lavatube to replace the logic disposables. I love it and use it daily. but it was a terrible decision as an only unit only because of the size. i have ordered smaller pocket friendlys for work. kgo seems to be the most common pv under $100

I second that, people don't read and comprehend. I'm surprised someone didn't mention they should buy silver bullet. I constantly see people mention this mod when people aren't looking for anything like this. This forum along with all the different devices people can purchase can be overwhelming for a newbie. KISS, Keep it simple stupid.

OH, wow! Thanks for the warm welcome....wasn't expecting that.

So what'dya think about this? http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=436&category_id=31

It looks so cute. Also, am I reading this right? It comes with low resistance atomizers? Is that what lr means? haha. It says there are 6 empty cartridges. What does that mean exactly? they are just empty and you fill them up with juice? and/or have some filler material? or wicking? oh, god. i'm so lost again.

I need help walking through this. .. is this a good place to start? I'm sorta feeling like this is it. I need cartomizers with this right? oh! (stay with me..i'm very add) soo what does debridged mean? i noticed the ones that come with it aren't..so is that better or worse or just different? and why does it say i need a standard resistance (v.s. l or low? i guess...) vision ego carto with the kgo?
