Yes, I know kroger is a grocery store. ;p Who knows. Maybe it has nothing to do with ordering online at all, but awfully coincidental that it happened while trying. There were several payments. (60-80 something dollars each) I'm not sure why it didn't take the order the first time. I had just checked my balance earlier at the atm and I had a few hundred in the account. Also, the charges were pending, but still were included in my available balance. So maybe it didn't take it b/c there was not enough in the account to cover what I had ordered? Maybe someone stole the info while I was typing it? Maybe it's not related to using this site at all? I don't know. I am very confused..and feel kinda stupid...so please excuse my ignorance.

Oh, ok. I just sent that before seeing your reply (sailorman). Thanks for the info. Reading that just really, really makes me sick to my stomach. Argh! I'm so angry right now. Anyhoo, I'm about to leave for work. Send some positive vibes my way that I don't break down and buy some ciggies. Even though I have my gas station cheapie, I'm still craving one right now.

Holy crap ya that sucks.... So you place your order on the website CC info blah blah blah and then with in the next 20 minutes your account starts getting hit?? Hhhmmmm. Did you get any sort of confirmation email from the website with regards to your order? Wonder if they're site has been.... compromised.. Well at least they stopped payment for you.

No, it sounds like her account had already been wiped out but it hadn't been cleared and posted, so her ATM showed more than she really had availble. When the site tried to verify the available balance on the card, it got more up to date info and declined the card. It wasn't even a matter of stopping payment, there was never any acceptance of the card by the site. The whole thing happened before she ever placed the order.

Well, that sure does suck! I've been through some hellacious identity theft a few years ago. It was a nightmare to get straightened out. Someone stole my purse and got all my ID including ssn. What a disaster. Took lots of phone calls over sevaral years because they kept popping up again.

Anyway, if you want to borrow a couple of go-go bats, cartos, tanks, etc... While you wait for your cc stuff to get straightened out, let me know. I'd be glad to loan some of mine out. I don't really use them anymore, so it wouldn't be a problem. The go-go is 3.7V, 1300 mah. The cartos give a nice vape.

Iam airly new also, vaping since sept. Almost a year now. What ever you decide on, go with a 510 conection. It is more common, and easier to find different cartomizers for. I have a couple joyetech 510 batterys 220mah. And one joytech ego passthrough 650mah. I like the small battery for the cig feel, it lasts about 2 hrs of heavy vaping. The ego will last about 6 hrs of heavy vaping. Joyetech is very good quality. A lot of venders carry them, alot carry knock offs. The joyetechs will last longer. You will end up replaceing the knockoffs, and spending more money then you need to. I use 510 standard resistance cartmizers with both.

Hi, YesMyDD,
I hope you contacted your cc company or bank ASAP to get those charges removed. How scary! I use PayPal whenever possible, unfortunately not all vendors accept PayPal, but I hate giving my cc # all over the web, ...and I do buy a LOT over the Internet. Crossing fingers, toes, and eyeballs that this will turn out okay for you.

Are you really getting the Woodvil 18490?
If not, just wanted be among the happy KGO owners to recommend it as a great PV. I'm pretty new to all this, but the KGO is simple to operate, looks good, vapes great, and sells for a very reasonable price. Also, my charge usually lasts me all day (is says 8 hours). But with one charged and waiting in the wings when the first one needs recharging, I'm always good to go.

I had a "blu" mini e-cig, at first and it only took me two days of constant charging to say "To heck with this!" I love my KGO and cannot recommended it enough. I have the red metallic, but also bought a blue metallic, and later a flat pink. Won't catch me without a "ready to vape" PV at hand, LOL.

Also, in regards to cig smoking, I found it EASY PEASY to get off analogs after I started vaping. I smoked & vaped for maybe 5 days and then I realized I didn't enjoy the cigs at all, and just wanted to vape, so I threw away my remaining 4 packs of analogs. Tomorrow (May 24) will be my 3 Week Anniversary off cigarettes! WHO WUDDA KNOWN IT WAS SO EASY TO QUIT SMOKING (even after 35 or so years of it)!

BTW, I sure do hope you didn't give in to buying a pack of analogs. If you did, don't beat yourself up about it, just get back to vaping and I'm sure you can give the cigs up and never look back.
Let us know how the CC thing went, and what PV you ordered.

Trust me when i say trust me.

I ordered a lavatube in the mail and i found out its gonna take 30 days to arrive in the mail so I needed something to vape with during that time so i don't go back to analogs. I decided to check my local classifieds and found a guy selling this baby

This is the Riva 510. So i thought yeah this will do for the meanwhile. When i popped off the mouth piece and poured in 10 drops and vaped all i could say was WOW. The vape that this thing produces is crazzy. I couldn't even inhale a long puff because the TH was crazy! It made me even wonder why i ordered the lavatube. This is all i needed!! It comes with :
-usb charger
-wall plug
-2 750mah batteries
-10 cartomizers
-2 attys (I suggest you get more because if you use a flavour like cinnamon it will taint the atty and all your other juices will taste like cinnamon
-2 cone covers

My batts are 750mah and last me hours and hours

This is the one I have but mine is the same color as the pic I posted above.
The thing works flawless i feel like making a vid and showing you. This kit cost me 50$ from the guy and I've heard you can get it for 40$ o

oh, i almost forgot! To my fellow ohioans, I'd like to keep in touch. Let me know if there is anything in the tri-state worth looking into. (r/ vaping, of course) ;) I can't stand the overpriced stuff at the mall/smoke shops I've found so far.

I'm in Cincinnati and just getting started too. Hoosier e-cig is just up the highway in Greensburg, IN, maybe 45 minutes from the West side. I got a KGO starter kit and Vision clearomizers from them last week. Also some unflavored, 60/40, 24 & 18mg juices. I don't know if they have a storefront or are just internet based.

IMO - The KGO with the Vision Clearomizers is an easy way to start. I can't help with where to go from there. I don't have the experience.

Jim,
Hoosiers is where I bought my KGO also, of course I had to have it shipped since I down in Texas, but it got here fast. Great company to order from, IMHO. I also got a couple of the stainless steel drip tips which were recommended by ECF members, and I really like them so much better than the ceramic ones I had also purchased.

Ack, you poor thing - that must have given you a terrible fright. Hope your card company managed to sort it out for you. I suspect that my laptop had a security issue last year & that someone was accessing my paypal account, not to steal from it, but to use it for hidden transactions (it is easy enough to delete transaction history from the user interface.) It was a deeply unnerving experience.

You might feel safer if you had a separate account with a debit card for use in situations where there is a higher risk. They are of less interest to fraudsters, and if you ensure the balance is low and there is no overdraft facilty and a daily spending limit, at least the rest of your money is safe.

Yes, Hoosier service was great. The indicator light on the USB battery charger didn't work and they sent me a new one the next day. Didn't even want the first one back (although I am going to send it to him).

May I ask why the stainless steel is better than the ceramic drip tips?
