I don't think you'll make a mistake ordering either one. I think you'll be happy with both choices. I don't have an epower, but I can definitely see the plus side with them.

Both are good pvs. All the links people are posting are from very good suppliers.

The tricky part is finding juice! Or the fun part.

Sorry your head hurts. It was so confusing to me, I spent a week on here browsing and asking questions before I figured out what to buy! Good luck and welcome.

The cool thing about the e-power is that the batteries are so cheap to replace. The Ego and Kgo batteries are around $20, while the e-power batteries are around $6.

This is the e-Power I am considering getting http://www.vaporalley.com/home/24-e-cig-kits/58-ego-kits/381-ego-epower-2800 for my third PV. I have a Kgo, and have ordered a 5 volt mod, but I want another too!

Why that one Sandy? I'm just curious. I don't have an epower. Did you hear anything about that one? What batteries do you use in your box mod?

I'm not sure that e-power batteries have smaller sizes.

Ego batteries (the battery built in) come in different sizes from 650 - 1300. As far as the epower I don't know if they have smaller batteries.
I have a 4650 and 14500 epower the only difference is in the spring. I think they were supposed to make a smaller 14500 but don't know if they ever did. I bought my last one early summer so things could have changed. I stretched the spring in the 4650 and use AW IMR 14500 batteries in both.

Late summer or fall they came out with new version of the switch and this one didn't work with cartos that were less than 2.0 ohms. So if you plan on using less than a 2.0 ohm carto you need to make sure the one you buy has an updated switch or one of the original switches, or you can buy a new switch later. I think they cost around $10 but you may be able to find them for less. I don't look for bargains.

e-Cigarette Review: Epower 2800 electronic cigarette starter kit

The overall tube construction appears to be roughly the same as the old version. The major exception being the button assembly is no longer removable, one feature I wish had stayed in the reboot. The bottom end-cap does screw on a little more smoothly although it is nowhere near as velvet-like as the Provari’s end cap.

Think i'm going with the Riva SE from Sweet-Vapes. I actually think I may still order the Epower in a few weeks so I have two on hand. It will be more expensive for me intially as I was able to roll a carton of cigs for about $5 and they were really very good, but it's still so worth it. After the initial cost it may cost me about the same as rolling my own smokes without killing myself :)

Riva SE Carto Kit | Sweet-Vapes E-Liquid

This kit comes with 5 cartomizers, but I plan to buy a supply of the boge 2.0 as recommended. I am also going to try to figure out which atomizer so I can test liquids and I'm sure I'll figure all of that out as I go. That's what this forum is about, but every time I cough or wake up with a heavy chest, I just know it's time to stop reading and buy! :)

I have also determined I'll try to find some 510 LR atomizers (thinking brand name doesn't matter...right?), but haven't been able to determine if there is specific type of cartridge i need to buy with the purpose to be testing liquids with the drip tip.

I also have a fun list of eliquids to try both to addrss my menthol fix and some fun ones...feel free to suggest you favorite :)

Sandy, my e-power 2800 with tank is to be delivered tomorrow from vapor alley. I ordered it on Sunday and totally excited for the mail man tomorrow. I ordered it al o for the same reason the 2800 batteries and also being able to get the tank in the starter instead of wasting money on a starter with cartridges.

BreezESmokes sells the Riva ego and KGO. I've purchased there and have been happy.

BreezEsmokes

sweedishfish, Did you see that breezesmokes has made their site "DARK" today to protest SOPA? wow....must be getting pretty bad.

Anyway, I second you getting any of what you have listed cemeatobox. Only way to learn to "swim" is just jump in! You'll make any of those 3 work just fine, I'm sure.

Good Luck!
