Hi Folks

I received the innokin iTaste today. No instructions whatsoever but its all online and despite it looking like a kit you would see in a surgery I soon figured it out.

First impressions were very good. I choose a 24mg Menthol 10ml as part of the kit. However. Last time I tried one of these 2 years ago I lasted a day before I ended up back on the normal cigs and I just felt dreadful.

I haven't had a cigarette since 9am this morning and have been having puffs on the innokin throughout the day. it is now 18:20pm. So that's a record since last time two years ago. However. Despite not feeling the need for nicotine I do feel like I am missing something. I am getting very very irritable as the day goes on and the innokin taste is starting to taste pretty awful plus I can taste it on my tongue.

Is this normal? Should I be mixing it with a few normal cigs at first? I guess I need to try some different liquids as well. I am also getting a headache. I never get headaches and I am wondering if its a nicotine overdose as my normal cigs are 8-10 mg I think and this is 24.

I think its a good bit of kit but its not quite working for me just yet.

The biggest test will be in the next ten minutes or so when the bar (at home) opens and I start downing a few beers! That's when I most enjoy a smoke.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Hi mate, welcome to ECF. Im am also fairly new to vaping and the first few days of it has been a bit of a roller coaster. you might want to have a look at my thread that explains a lot of my experiences and other peoples comments and advice on what was happening and what to expect

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/401268-newbie-when-stop-vaping-concerns.html

It talks about myself for the first few days not really getting the satisfaction i was looking for, and having some severe headaches. anyway have a read through the thread and im sure you will find some answers.
