I don't think stains gonna work......the wood is joined pieces of pine.....all your gonna see is a lot of joints.....if it was a solid piece then I would say yes to the stain. These are cheap pieces of wood.
Very nice. Personally i would go with maybe a stain and some tung oil.

The stain would probably look better if I had better material....it's just crappy pine.
I do like the stain even if the wood is not top grade they look great !!! Way to go!!!
I like the stain also, looks more interesting. How bout putting some laquer on a couple of those?
I used a satin all in one stain and poly......That's as good as it's gonna get. Unledd I come across a descent piece if wood.

It's a real pain to make these things......Lots of drilling.......I would be happy to help you guys make your own. It's not difficult.....just time consuming. Any questions I'll gladly answer.

One for work, one or two for home. It's just that he gets busy sometimes and doesn't always have time and I want things....YESTERDAY....ya know? Typical Woman
