My Intro

Thought I'd drop in with an introduction and say hi.

37 years smoking analogs until yesterday. I'd developed a chronic sore throat around three months ago, enough that it scared me into a visit to a throat doctor. If I eased off the cigarettes my throat would improve but something had to give since I really enjoy smoking. The TH on the analogs was making my life a misery... got to where I could just barely inhale any of the smoke.

So about a week ago I began digging around in this forum and the whole e-cig deal. I read that the 901 gave a slightly cooler vapor and the VG gave more vap/less TH so that's the path I'm on for now and it seems to be working. I was vaping from yesterday after lunch until about 1:00 am in the morning and on awakening I could still feel an improvement in my throat from laying off the analogs.

I think this might work out. I was really suprised how much I enjoy the vaping and the flavor... bet the tobacco companies are going nuts over these things. Also been spending alot of time researching the DIY aspect of the e-juice which I think would be enjoyable.

Thanks to everyone who makes the forum possible and contributes.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm stick'n to it... wish me luck.

Hello & welcome to ECF - this is a great forum to learn about e-cig devices and juices - there are so many to choose from. Feel free to ask lots of questions because there are a lot of people here to give you lots of info. I have thoroughly enjoyed the change I made from smoking to vaping. Not only is it healthier, but I believe it is so much more enjoyable and cheaper! Enjoy your adventure!

WTG chohan, that's wonderful. You will see more and more bennifets from vaping as time goes on. Your energy levels, stamina, sense of taste and smell will all return.
Just remember that vaping is drying so keep up with your water intake....

Hi, welcome to ECF and congrats. Nice to see posts where the transition was seamless and the rewards so instant. In regards to warmer vape the lower resistance delivery systems (cartos, Clearos, etc) will give a warmer vape. Remember to drink lottsa water as Vaping dehydrates and van negatively impact the Vaping experience. I drink 1 1/2 liters per day.
