Hello electronicstix.com . On 8-21-13 I bought an Innokin Itaste MVP (the original version not the newer version 2) from your company. Recently it's got to where it frequently stays in the firing position even when the button is not depressed and stays in the on or firing position for about 10 seconds until the automatic override shuts it down. This morning when I woke at 6 am it was firing and I literally hadn't even touched it for days so I know it is not working correctly. I looked at your website about a week ago and saw you have I think it was a 14 day warranty period on most goods purchased from you. That seemed like a dead end with my problem so I then contacted Innokin directly via E-Mail and I just received a reply today from them via E-Mail.
Innokin states they warrant their devices for 3 months and if I return the item to the company I bought it from that the company (yours in this case) will replace the device and Innokin in turn will send your company a new device to replace the one you've replaced for me under their warranty. I do have their E-Mail that I am willing to forward to you if necessary and I can also go to your website once it's reopened for business and get my order number from your database. By the way I did try to go to your website today but it is temporarily down for maintenance and since I'm now right on the edge of the 3 month Innokin warranty period I decided to contact you on this forum so there would be a written record that I have tried to contact you prior to the Innokin warranty period expiring.
I'm heading out of state in a while and will only have intermittent internet access while out of state but I will try to get back on here as frequently as possible to see what we can do to resolve this issue. It's a $65 device and I'm not a rich person so any help you can provide me on getting a replacement device through the Innokin warranty will be greatly appreciated.
Lastly can you tell me is the constant firing a common problem or did I just happen to get a rare lemon that slipped past Innokin's quality control? When it worked I really liked it so if this isn't a common problem I'd much prefer a replacement instead of a refund.
You can contact me directly via E-Mail at chicagogoldprospector@yahoo.com . Or if you prefer you can leave a message here and I will check back frequently. Once your website reopens the I will also contact you via that site. Thanks in advance. Have a good day!
