Yes, I should have:


Checked to make they were an "authorized" dealer
( I thought they were )


Sent my device back in the 30 day warranty period
( 30 days or 30 seconds )


Been born into the Kennedy or DuPont family
( still upset about this one )


BUT.....That did not happen.


So begins the sad saga of my Innokin VTR


2-1/2 months ago my son talked me into buying a Innokin vtr along with a bunch of other supplies from vape101.com
We got everything in a timely fashion. We promptly checked the code on Innokin's website to make sure it was an authentic product, it was.
All seemed well in vape land.


After about a week, my son noticed that some segments of the LCD display were not functioning properly. Some segments were dimmer than others.
I sent them an email, along with a picture, and they said that I should send it back and they would send me a new one.
We should have returned it right then, but it did not seem to be a big issue since you could still read it so we did not. Also he did not want to do without the device


BIG Mistake!


After about a month and a half the segments that were dim no longer lit at all.
Again, I sent them an email. This time they responded with the following:




Hi Robert,


We offer a 30 day warranty on Innokin products. You order was delivered 2 1/2 months ago and does not fall into this warranty period.

So, I contacted Innokin. I felt this was way too short of a warranty. And that it should be guaranteed for one year. The following is what Innokin said:




Dear Robert ,

Thank you for contacting Innokin .

I'm sorry to hear that , but 101vape.com is unauthorized vendor , please speak with your vendor directly about this .

All Authorized Innokin Vendors are required to provide a 3 month after sales service warranty. In the future we would strongly recommend that you only buy Innokin
products from Authorized Innokin vendors/local B&M stores as they will provide far better after sales service and support.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any additional service please let me know.

So now I am stuck with an expensive paperweight.


Since this was an authentic Innokin product, I feel they should stand by their product and send me one.


As for 101Vape.com I can't even log into my account now.


Where has customer service gone?????????
